[Her eyebrows go up, and while she knows that with her enhanced hearing she likely could hear what he had to say to her without following - the intercom is a convenient cover for Donna's natural talents - these matters tend to be more sensitive than that.

She pushes up to follow him in, closing the door behind her.]

So he did come here with something juicy. I figured it had to be if he didn't even want to have it in your office.

( He's careful with what he says in his office. From a lower drawer he brings out what looks like an ancient metronome he was gifted. Donna knows this is his loophole to the Colony's ears, as it ticks and sways.

Klaus Mikaelson's long lost older sister? Not much.

[She pauses, before moving closer and sitting in the seat across from the desk.]

She's not part of the French Quarter witches, but throws her support behind the witches' faction. Then again, things with Davina Claire and most Mikaelsons are hashtag-it's complicated, but for the most part, they're allies. But Freya's the scary one. Cross Klaus, and you're insides will meet your outsides, but that's generally the worst he can do to you.

[Being a scary witch means doing scary witch things. Not that she has any direct examples.]

Granted, these are all rumors, but I heard that she could boil your blood with her brain.

I've heard witches do that.

( Not that he's seen, or that it's been confirmed. He's more entrenched with Supernatural witches, than TVD. )

Apparently, Freya might have ties to the Colony. And she may know who's been working with and against the hunters for their own ends. Someone tied to the Colony and the Knightsbridge covens.

[Not that she's old enough to even be a contender with the Mikaelsons, but a little vampire backup never hurt.]

New Orleans can be tough to navigate.

I know the French Quarter's a bit of a maze, but in the age of AppleMaps.

Want is a strong word. But I would feel better if you had someone watching your back when going into Mikaelson territory.

[Maybe she'll make some calls. She still has friends in some places.]

I'd take David, but it would defeat the purpose of outsourcing to me. I can also take care of myself, Donna.

[But she's going to text her friend Marcel anyway, just to be on the safe side.]

Since when does being careful get us anywhere?

I'll meet with your contact and decide then if I need back up.

Good. I'll clear your calendar and arrange the air fare. Just let me know how long you'll need to be gone.

[And hopefully he'll make it back safe and in one piece.]

Put two days on the calendar to start. Maybe I'll do some sight seeing.

I hear there's a beignet festival this time of year.

It's beignets. New Orleans is famous for them.

[Also who do you think you're talking to Harvey? With her sweet tooth of course she knows when the beignet festival is.]

( Does she keep in touch with David. Should he care. He doesn't respond, though, letting her exit his office. He's not going to New Orleans to - okay, maybe he'll have one beignet. They seem to be all anyone can talk about. )
