[She can't help but get drawn to him as he starts stripping down, but soon she'll do the same, before beginning to shift. She's been doing it for so many years at this point that it's fairly quick in comparison to some of her kind, but it still has it's moments, less graceful than Derek's own shift.
But once they're both in full wolfy form, off she'll dash into the bayou. Catch her if you can, Derek.]
[She starts off slow, giving him some time to keep up since he's not a native to the bayou (14). But since he seems like he's doing well, she kicks up the speed, giving into her instincts and wanting to feel the wind in her fur.]
[She zips to the side, sensing him coming and managing to dodge as he comes down (20). She kills some of her momentum and skids to face him, resting her power back in her hind legs and waits.
[She manages to stay ahead of him, darting to the side, and giving him a little side swipe with her paw (16) before darting to the other side of the clearing.]
[She loses him in the trees, and she eventually slows when she realizes as much. Her eyes roam the forest searching for some sign of life when a tree branch snaps. Her eyes whip around and she looks ....
[There's a small, surprised whine as he manages to get her, but she catches it's him pretty quick. They roll, and she nips back, allowing the momentum to carry her forward until she can attempt to get the upper hand (13).]
[He catches her almost in the gut and she rolls off easily (6), sliding to a stop a few feet away. As she rights herself, she cocks her head to the side almost as though to ask what's next.
Are they still tussling, are they done or are they going to keep running?]
( Actually? He's going to take this turn to transform back, sweaty, heavy-breathed, and ready to do another type of tussling, which we can leave them to. )
