[He leans in and looks, and then he swears. And while there probably be some kind of carny solidarity, being a living vampire with a heart still in his chest trumps carny solidarity.
"The twins. A pair of lampreys we picked up a couple months back. They've been traveling with us, and as far as I'm aware nothing shady happened but they're ... weird."]
["I don't know them. I try to stay the fuck away from them." He considers for a moment before snapping his fingers at another carny that's passing. "Hey, Cisco. The creeper twins, do they have names?"
The man pauses, before tipping his head to the side. "Wheeler? Fuck if I know."]
[The carny looks up at him, because yeah. Sure. But he waves a hand. "Dude. As long as I leave with my heart intact, I don't care. I'm not new." Not as old as Damon, but old enough. He knows how the game is played.]

( Damon wants to search for the trailers, but between the people and a view obscured by some stilt walkers (3), he probably does not see where they can go next. )
If they gave in to their baser killer urges, they are probably looking to skip town. And fast.
The problem with them not responding is that Lydia starts to get worried. Stiles is usually pretty quick on the response. Cora and Scott maybe not but Stiles yes. And then, as they're continuing to wander the midway, a howl splits the air.
