See you soon.
Meanwhile, Castiel pulls up to the front and comes to a stop, giving Jack a small wave through the window, like Jack might not see him for some reason, being the only moving car in the middle of the parking lot.]

Hello. Sam says Dr. Gilbert could be really hurt.
no subject
Dean indicated the same, but he didn't give many details. It seems strange - one of the other victims was given vampire blood, but the same care didn't seem to be taken for Elena.

I don't know what Dr. Gilbert is, but she isn't all human. She is human, but she is also -- different. I've never seen it. Except, with her.

[Because Cas was there and he has eyes.]
Her blood has magical qualities.
no subject
But changed. That hasn't happened before, has it?

I'm sure that Headmaster Forbes knows more about this than we do. If we need to know, we can ask.

( It pains him to know she's in danger, and that her injuries could be extensive. )

[Whatever magic the cure possesses, it seems as though it only prevents vampirism, not other forms of healing. But before he can think too much on that, he pulls up in front of the hospital.]
But we'll see what happens.

( And Jack, with a hopeful, but weak, smile, heads around to meet Cas and join him as they make their way into the hospital proper. )

Caroline, however, is looking down the hallway and when she sees Jack she smiles.]
Hey, Jack. What are you doing here?
no subject
( Dean slams the keys into Sam's hand because, sure, whatever, this is his fault now. Fine. He holds that mantle up well.
Jackson perks up, and to Lydia: "Someone's here. Jack?"
Jack looks to Cas before taking a step forward and keeping his voice to a low whisper. )
I heard about Dr. Gilbert. I'm here to help.

Lydia glances up before shaking her head. She never heard anything about a Jack.
Caroline, on the other hand, smiles before nodding.]
Thank you for coming. I really appreciate that. But let's wait until the doctors are finished.
[By which she means the muggles who probably shouldn't experience her miraculous recovery.]
no subject
( He smiles, hopeful, looking back at Cas. Dean looks over.
"Jack?"
Whether Sam is taking the car, or walking with him, he crosses the length of the hallway.
"Cas. Jack." )

The answer is said with Cas's usual brevity, but Caroline will glance over to Dean, understanding that he likely made the call.]
Thank you.
[She's still annoyed about the Stiles comment, but she can be annoyed about that and grateful for this too. She's emotionally advanced.]

( He cares about Elena, too. Always had this soft spot in his heart for her, maybe something even underneath that, something that called out to him even at a young age.
But like he's good at explaining that.
The other doctors consult with Jo inside the room, hook Elena up, and take their leave.
Jack tries to look inconspicuous as they pass.
Dean peeks inside. It's just Elena, Stiles, Lydia (and her warmth?) and Jackson. )
We should -

[She glances to Jo, who takes in Jack and Cas standing there and catches wind of what they're about to do.
"Shut the door. Make sure the windows are obscured."
Caroline nods, before reaching for the curtains and quickly pulling them closed. Elena is laid out in the hospital bed, unmoving but breathing, various bandages addressing each of her injuries.
Meanwhile, from the other side of the room, Lydia watches curiously trying to gauge what the kid and the tall man in the trenchcoat might be.]

Jo shuts the door behind them, with Sam and Dean by the foot of the bed and Jack coming around to assess. He holds a hand out, to try and feel what's going on. How bad is it?
Well, she doesn't have a breathing tube at least, or this would be uncomfortable and traumatic for Elena.
He looks back to Cas for a nod before resting his hand on her forehead. Light shines from his hand and his irises brighten, fiery. His healing as a nephilim is the complete kind, mind and body, and in this case, reversing the brain swelling altogether and any other bruising.
He finishes, eyes returning to normal. He lets go, dropping his hand to his side, stepping back so that Dr. Laughlin can approach. )
