["Aw, your dad is the sheriff too? So was my mom." Caroline takes a beat before shaking her head. "Not important."]

I know, you're here for the hunters and this sounds really opportunistic, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to get werewolf adults interested in the school. Sometimes, you need to seize the moment, even if it's awkward.

She's also listening to Stiles' conversation with is dad, though. At least it sounds better than things went with her mom. Both times.]
Also, we could probably use more werewolf adults around but ... again, hard to find.
[Elena will interject before they get to the obvious answer: "Most of the werewolves at the school are either orphans or foster kids. Kids that didn't have anywhere else to go. They form their own packs, but a lot of them don't really understand what a pack is."
Hope Mikaelson is the exception, not the rule.]

( Scott's practically beaming.
"I'll call you back. I will. We'll - sure, I'll FaceTime you. Yes. Well, I think I'll be taking that sabbatical." Stiles is pacing now, back and forth.
Allison smiles, looking to Elena.

And then, a knock on the door
Ryan Atwood! He has a bag slung over his shoulder, he sidesteps Stiles who comes back in and flops onto the bed next to Elena. )

Caroline also lights up when she sees Ryan.]

[Then she looks down at her bloodied clothes.]

( And some of the room says, "Elena's" and the others say "Stiles'". And that's clarification.
This is still Ryan, though, so he understands that. And that comes with silent acknowledgement. )

( And then, again, all together, he hears a cacophony of"Stiles,", "Allison," and "Scott."

But Caroline will reach over to take the bag from him, and go through all the introductions:]
That's Allison Argent, head of the Argent hunter family. That's Scott McCall, Alpha of the Hale pack, and that is Stiles, my new vampire-in-training.
[She then gestures to Ryan.]
And this is Ryan Atwood, a Caroline Forbes vampire success story. I'm going to go find a shower to get ready for graduation, but if you have any questions, he or Elena can answer them.
[And she will duck out to find somewhere to get clean. Elena sighs and looks over at Ryan with a small smile.
"Hey, Ryan."]

( Like most people, Ryan likes Elena. He is suddenly in a very busy room, however. Not usually his scene. )

I think Caroline managed to find a newbie vampire who's the exact opposite of you.
[The way she says that doesn't indicate whether or not it's good or bad, just that it is.]

( As if Ryan could assess Elena's wellbeing just from a once over, he tilts his head and does just that. He's heard the story already. He didn't hear about the miracle. )

You've been awake and talking for ... a couple hours, maybe? And I've already heard you say more words than I've heard Ryan say in the entire time I've known him.
[And she means that with love.]

"That's --" Scott looks to Allison.
"Not Stiles." Allison smiles behind her phone.
