( Katherine stands nearby, impatient, no doubt from her earlier idea. Werewolf hearing does its' thing. )
You recognize him?

Alexander glances back, appraising for a moment, before nodding.]
Damian Jericho. There are worse hunters out there to vouch for. And honestly I don't think he's bad, he just ... goes against the grain. Most hunters are whiskey soaked revenge-mongers, Winchesters included. I'd almost rather work with someone like Damian, but I'm a minority in that.

( He likes the opinionated. )
Dean Winchester threatened Stiles.

[He takes a breath, because he probably shouldn't speak ill of those who might kill him, but Jackson should probably be aware.]
You know, they talk about how Monore is militarizing people? Sam and Dean had that happen to them as kids. Their dad spent most of their childhood shuffling them around from hunt to hunt. So to a certain extent, they've never seen options like Damian's as viable ones. All the people they've learned how to hunt from are those who lost something to the supernatural, and were galvanized by it, rather than those who saw the ... value in the industry, so to speak. To them it's personal. It's always been personal.
[He pauses.]
I'm sure they're good guys, especially if they see the value in what Allison is doing. I'm not saying they're bad people, and they've definitely gotten softer in their old age to be working with Allison and your pack. But there's some habits that die hard.
no subject
( But, that galvanization. It's more prevalent now and more widespread thanks to Monroe. )
What's magic? To you?
no subject
[It's a hard thing to explain, honestly, and he isn't sure there's a simple way to explain it, not to someone who was bitten and chose to become the thing they are.]
I don't know who I would be without it. My life would be very different. I would be different. I certainly wouldn't be doing this.
[He shrugs.]
At the same time, it's a responsibility. I'm not as pure in my practice as some other traditional wishes, but I do have to be careful that I'm not getting too in over my head with the dark stuff. It's a balance. Just like you have to walk with the full moons.
no subject
( He still sees the need for balance, the need for therapy, for introspection when it comes to being a good werewolf. Both a good werewolf and someone good at being a werewolf. )
You're a good balance.
no subject
[He appreciates the vote of confidence.]
You seem like you're managing your balance well too.

( While it is an every day struggle, he's worked through a lot of his issues, his identity issues, his struggle with authority figures, his unfeeling nature, his tendency to lash out... But, once you transform into a lizard because of the shape and cut of your soul, you look at yourself differently. )

[He's not one to judge. No one is perfect, after all.]
no subject
( He does what he can. )
I could learn from you. If you were interested.
no subject
Are you asking to join the underground?
no subject
( He would totally be of help! )

[He shifts, resting his arm on the back of the seat as he turns to face Jackson more.]
This isn't exactly flashy work. You seem like you like to stand out.
[He holds up his hands.]
Not that I'm judging, just making a point.
no subject
( To the right people... )
Shapeshifters don't have the luxury.
( Unless. )
And, I didn't join Scott for accolades. I have skills. Skills that need to be used.
no subject
[He nods as he considers, because he knows he's going to have to sell his dad on this.]
We'll finish up here, and then we'll give you a test run.
no subject
( Owned. )
no subject
[Which is just going to be very, very interesting all around.]
And you have to pass his text run.
no subject
( That's fast, though, to meet parents. Good to take things as they come. Ethan didn't have them. Just a dead brother. Jackson can charm when he does want to. Something to keep his eye on. A prize, so to speak.
Respect he deserves. )
When do you need to return. Actually.
no subject
[So maybe Monday or Tuesday.]
no subject
( He's finished his plate, but he's content to sit and bask in Alexander's presence. )
Should I tell Lydia they need a ring or do we pick that up, too?
( Ring, moonstone. Driving the Hale's. )
no subject
[It would be the smart thing to do if you had a collection of vampire students who needed to pass during daylight hours.]
no subject
( Right? She's in his address book now. Which brings him to sending another text.
to Caroline )
I have a witch who can help Stiles. Do you have a lapis lazuli stash? )
I don't know where anything is. Except, for my car, this house and the hospital. ( And the B and B. ) You think this town has a jewelers.
no subject
Stop by the school. Ric will have it ready for you.
Alexander shrugs.]
Rich people love jewelry.
no subject
Sure. )
History, maybe. You think this town is wealthy?
