Jack appreciated it. You could've always flipped us off and kept Jack. He needed it. As much as we tried, as much as we wanted, we weren't always enough.

[And that's all that anyone can really ask of you as a parent.]

It's clear that Jack loves you all very much.

Yeah, he uh, he had a tough time.

( And they're his dads. As complicated as the truth is, what's real is that. And Dean never thought he'd see himself with a real family. Not after Lisa. )

Cas did real good, too.

He did. I think he fit in really well with the other parents, even if he was a bit odd.

[Which, all of them are a bit odd, so that's not really saying anything.]

Yeah? He uh, he had nothing but good things to say. And if he had had any misgivings. He would've voiced him. He loves Jack.

( They all love Jack. )

What uh -- what usually happens after? Supernatural Ivy League?

Or the normal ones. Our goal here is to help socialize them within the supernatural world. While some schools have more of an occult history than others, we're not here to limit them.

We gave them the tools, now it's time to see how well they use them.

You know there are people like us, like Sam and me. We know they're people. But, they could run across the wrong pair. These kids, they deserve a chance.

( He looks over the crowd in front and the minglers, taking a sip. )

Where's Josie going? And -- her sister. The blonde.

Josie's following her girlfriend to Tulane. It's close to Hope's family. And Lizzie is heading off to NYU. But before they do any of that, they're doing the traditional backpacking across Europe trip for the summer.

[cholesterol]

( It takes one slip-up, before the pitchforks come. )

Europe. They flying?

( Dean. )

That is the plan. I don't think they really do passenger ships to Europe very much anymore.

[cholesterol]

( His teeth meet one another as he makes a face. One thing he's never been able to hide. That he'll never get on a plane again. )

Who doesn't want to be on a passenger ship for -- two weeks?

[She laughs.]

Not these teenagers. Especially when one of the parents can charter a private jet.

[cholesterol]

Jets go down. ( Hoo-wee. Oh. Wait. He - looks to her. ) Not that I want that to happen, or think it will. I don't fly.

( She probably can see why. )

I'm seeing that.

[She smirks.]

Right now, it's a risk we're willing to take.

[cholesterol]

Everyone does.

( His voice is gruff as he clears his throat. )

Hope they like it. Kids do that. They go backpacking. It's like an experience.

[She nods.]

They deserve a little freedom before college eats all their time.

[cholesterol]

( They should be careful. Freedom can quickly turn dangerous on a dime, but he's not here to keep bringing the conversation down. )

They'll have fun.
