They work out of the Men of Letters base there. They're good people.

[Most of them just come from a world where things went wrong. They don't know what else to do but hunt.]

Right. I have to say, the Men of Letters didn't make our radar. It's hard to believe just how many of us hunters were operating under each other's noses. You work directly with them too, then?

( Their secret, the legacies they carry, continues to remain under wraps. )

They actually went defunct around the fifties, but our grandfather was one. So we sort of inherited this whole bunker of research and notes.

[He can't help but smile a little because nerd.]

Well, that would involve getting Dean on a plane, and that will happen when Hell freezes over.

But we also have a ... fundamental differences on how to handle the supernatural, and tried to kill us when we didn't play their way, so ... we decided to just leave each other alone.

[It's not because they enjoy the American road trip experience, though maybe on some level they do.]

Because, if I owned an Impala, I might drive everywhere, too. Or, my dad might. He's still jealous of your trunk set-up. Says we should make it standard issue.

( As hard as it is for her father to trust other hunters given how they treat his daughter, he likes the Winchesters. )

Yeah, it's not all it's cracked up to be. But I'm sure if he asked nicely, Dean would walk him through it.

When he gets back from Paris, I'll let him know.

( That's where he's stationed most of the time. He misses her, but he also has responsibilities to the school there, to other family members, and to Isaac in Europe. Now like more of a brother than an ex to her. )
