[Once she takes Hope's hand, she leads the way out onto the dance floor, waiting until she finds a good spot before pulling her closer.]

It feels weird, doesn't it? To be actually done with high school?

It feels -- I don't know, somehow complete and incomplete all at the same time. Like, we're just getting started, but also like we accomplished something. Like we survived.

( And they did. )

And if I didn't say it, Jose. You look amazing. I may have the prettiest date.

Not true. Mine is equally pretty, if not prettier.

[She smirks as they sway in time to the music.]

But it does feel like a chapter closing. Which is nice.

How does it sound if I hope it's an entire book closing. High school. Death. Comas. You know, in a way, Malivore is even graduating. Or, a part of him, all of Landon's mudness. We -- fought and -- survived for three years and now we're here.

( And that is something. )

[She nods, before shrugging.]

I don't know if I want it to be an entire book. That kind of feels like we don't have anymore room to grow.

[And personally she feels like she has a lot of growing to do.]

Books have sequels. And sidequels. Spinoffs. How many shows spinoff into college. That'll be us, at Tulane, closer than I really want to be to my family but knowing how lucky I am to have them that close.

( You know, that. )

Which, I've been meaning to - ask. We have time, of course, but do you want to live in the dorms, on campus? Off campus? I know my dad's been generous enough, but... he intimated an offer.

( Like an apartment. )

[And this is where she hesitates because as much as having her own place with Hope would be fun ...]

I was actually thinking it might be kind of fun to have a roommate in the dorms. Maybe ... it would be better to give us our own spaces to retreat to?

[She's never really lived with someone who wasn't Lizzie, who she knows how to predict in every way. She doesn't want her first experience in that department to be Hope when she hasn't figured out who the non-Lizzie person is yet.

She doesn't want being impossible to live with to be the reason why they break up.]

If that's okay?

( As close as Josie has been with her sister and sharing the same room since grade school practically, it's not a surprise she might want to branch out. Hope is all for it. )

Josie, that's - I think that's a great idea. Honest. I might not, but I will visit.

( Hope and roommates...

Then again, it depends how she and her dad are at the time. A little piete a terre. Maybe too much for his 18 year old daughter. But, she likes privacy. )

I'll even give my approval. I'm sure she'll be fittingly ... however roommates are. Not like Alyssa Chang.

God, I hope not.

[No offense to Alyssa Chang, but she could be the worst.]

But ... yeah. I'm actually really excited about it. I've spent so long with the same people, I think I'm ready to make new friends.

You are. And those people are going to wish they'd met you before. But, then, they're realize how lucky they are that they get to know you. Because, anybody should want a Josie Saltzman in their lives.

( Her fingers intertwine with Josie's as she swings her arm, being cute, a glint in her eye forming. )

What are the chances they lock every bedroom.

[Hope Mikaelson. Josie's eyes widen before giving her girlfriend a look.]

High. This place is practically a historical museum.

[But, she's not completely uninterested.]

[And as they're sneaking their way towards the door, Josie spots Jack coming their way and offers him a smile.]

( "Hey Jack." She holds one of Josie's hands in both of hers, resting her head against Josie's shoulder. Two amorous girlfriends... taking a walk.

I spoke to one of my fathers. Sam. He's going to talk to Dean, but, if the invitation is still an invitation, I can go. To backpack.

[Jack wouldn't get the signal. Josie is used to it.]

[She glances to Hope.]

[Josie can't help the giggle as she watches him leave. But once he disappears into the crowd, she tugs on Hope's hand, pulling her back out the door.]
