[She nods, her hands running along the drawers until she finds the one that she needs. Gently pulling it open, she moves her hand towards the back, and pulls out a small gold coin.

One he recognizes from the last time she put her magic into it.]

You should always go armed to a potential witch standoff.

( He has mixed feelings. He wants her to feel safe. )

Take one of the wolves with you. Or one of the vampires.

( He thinks he saw the Winchesters make their exit. )

Oh uh -- how well do you know Dr. Katz? How long has he been with the program?

Cami and Scott are still there. I'll be okay.

[And Elena can hold her own rather well when the other person involved isn't wielding a car.]

He's the chief resident. He and Elena were in the same med school class, I think. Why?

[She raises an eyebrow.]

You think he's the plant?

He's a witch. He was there after the accident. What if it wasn't a coincidence?

( Hmm? )

If not him, it's someone else, someone who's been with Elena longer. Or, around her. Unless, they traded off and took -- plant shifts.

I'll check it out. Now that we know he's a witch, we can go digging.

[She closes her hands over the coin, closing her eyes and reabsorbing her magic back into her system. Then, she turns back to her husband with a small smile.]

I've got this. Don't worry.
