[Which is probably less sexy than a surgeon, but it's out there. She also notices him taking a step closer, so she takes one in in return.]

( He doesn't wait for the answer before making a signature Dean move and crashing his lips into Elena's. He had a nice buzz going from graduation that the glass of wine kept him warm enough to do it. Especially since he's been called out. )

[For some reason, she didn't anticipate it. She expected the banter to draw out a bit more. Then again, she's not exactly surprised either. It is a very Dean move.

And it has been ... a while, since she's been kissed, especially like this. She starts at first, but a second later she's kissing him back, her hand coming up to rest against his shoulders.]

( His arms come to her waist, living in this seized moment. He was going to ask before if she wanted to clean up before eating. Now the shower is going and they both had a day's worth of different events. They're also both adults. So, he lets his hands and fingers (and mouth) do the talking, as he goes for her shirt, belt, his shirt. He is all for her calling the witch shots, but stopping and asking if he should call this one, not sexy.

As his hands start tugging her clothing she does the same, and if he really wants to stop and check he can - it's sexier than he thinks - but she's also willing to go with the flow, kicking off the last of her clothing before stumbling back towards the shower, pushing back the curtain and stepping inside.]

( You don't have to tell Dean twice. She's not pushing him away. And he does give a pause as if to ask, should I step in after you? But, when he gets that split second go ahead, the shower curtain it closed behind them, all the while the sink is still running. Well, no witches will hear what's going on. They may have to -- do something for the water wasting karma. But, they're not in drought country. )

[No, they are not. They'll handle everything else later.

Eventually things migrate from the shower to Elena's bedroom, a lot of kinetic motion that doesn't give Elena a lot of room to second guess what she wants which is honestly good for Elena. She does that a little too much.

But once things finally slow down and she drops back on the bed next to him, she gives a huff of a laugh.]

[And then there's more laughter. Did we mention it's been a while?]

( Dean is like a kitten with milk, stretching out next to her as his head hits the pillow, too. He's grinning beside her, wants to kiss her again, but - gives her the breathing room she needs to laugh, too. )

Not normally the reaction I get. Blame it on the endorphins? ( But, fuck, it's good beside her - and with her in general. ) I needed it, you need it? Man, I needed it.

Oh, definitely needed it. And also the endorphins, not your performance. Ten out of ten, would highly recommend.

[Just in case he needs to hear it, but she doubts he does. She shifts, rolling over to face him as she does.]

( He will -- listen. To Elena. And not go behind her back. It's -- weird to think he wants this to work out, wants to see where this can go. Elena doesn't have a kid to bond with, and she has friends who sort of? like him. But, he's different than he was before with Lisa. And he didn't have Sam for a year, then. )

[Hah. Sam will not be back until he's certain there is no evidence of what happened this night.

That being said, she nods as she inches closer.]

( Then ... those dishes can wait til morning. Dean'll clean em up, take her to the Mystic Grill for some breakfast. If she wants. He'll offer. Gosh he's not done this in ten years. )

( He shifts to get comfortable but stays close. Dean's never had a hard time falling asleep. This is no exception. It is nice with her in his arms. )
