I think staying out of it is wise. There will likely be other ways to contribute. Mystic Falls has a severe monster problem.

I'm talking about the Malivore monsters.

You mean the mud people?

Malivore was a construct created by a witch, a werewolf and a vampire to consume monsters in order to preserve humanity. A few years ago he started releasing them to release himself.

[Castiel makes a face.]

It can get quite messy.

Yes. But most of the time, the school had it well in hand. And he liked helping with the monsters. It inspired a sense of camaraderie.

So. You're telling me. We send him to school. And he hunts. Anyway. Great parenting we did.

The monsters came to him, Dean. It's not like he went looking for them. He was defending his friends.

But he needs to be given a chance to handle things on his own.

I am proud. He did very well at the school. And I am hopeful for the life he'll get to have because of it.

He's mentioned both college and hunting. I think he's still trying to figure that out.

I don't think so. At least, not that he mentioned to me. I think he's just weighing his options.
