Lydia, the banshee, she came to town at the start of the week. They were able to give us a lot of information on Monroe and her operation.

[She reaches into her pocket, going for her phone, but before she pulls it out, she asks:]

Do you want me to ask?

What do you think -- what would he need?

( Yeah, he would. It would be something. It would feel like a direction. )

[She shrugs, hesitating on sending the message.]

I don't know. I'm not that familiar with the pack dynamics. But you have a lot of werewolf connections. Those could be helpful.

[She honestly doesn't think Scott would need a quid pro quo, but it's always good to show why Tyler would be valuable to the pack.]

All over. US all over. Sure. Make the call. Couldn't hurt.

[Elena nods and she pulls open her messaging app, sending off a quick text to Scott:]

I have a werewolf friend who'd like to meet. Do you think you'll have some time in the next couple days?

Totally!

Great! Let me know when you're free and we can figure out a time.

[And she turns back to Tyler with a smile.]

He's in.

Caroline has plans. When she shares them I'll let you know? Kind of have a thing right now.

Oh! How are you feeling?

( Tyler nods. That was easy. )

Great. Gilbert making friends.

It's what I do best. When they're not all dying on me.

[That's a joke. They can make morbid jokes about all the people that they know who have died right?]

Okay, let me know. And I'm good. I got out of the hospital last night. A good night sleep in my own bed definitely helped.

[Among other things.]

[Elena shakes her head.]

Well. They didn't stay dead?

Stiles. Yeah, I heard. Chatty graduation. He is as annoying as people seem to think?

[She's sure he has, at some point during Caroline's travels.]

Think him, but ... the exact opposite. If he has a thought, it's coming out of his mouth. But ... I don't think he's too much?

[At least, not yet.]

I didn't think he was that bad and I was the one stranded with him in a hospital room for hours so ...

[She shrugs. Your mileage may vary.]

I should probably let you go clean up. But dinner, all of us? Before you leave? We can go to the Grille like old times.

[She steps back and holds up her phone.]
