Speaking of someone who takes long showers and baths, Damon's opener finally arrives and he heads back to the house. He really only opened for Lydia (and would again), but right now, all he can think about is a bag of blood in the freezer drawer of his house.

[His Muppet face resembles that remark. But he's going raise one of those dramatic eyebrows at his brother before taking another sip.]

( Stefan, he just remodeled his basement. Is he going to have to, again? )

You expect him to blend in and get into the inner circles of homicidal hunters if he can only meet with them at night?

I thought he'd work up to having one. Let the witch friend leave town until we came across another one, or some truant summer schooled supe student might come over.

Katherine was incredibly offended. But he's alive to learn from his mistakes.

[He knows their history has been rocky, but Damon is still his brother. They're on better ground now, and he can tell that Damon actually means it, and isn't just saying it to seem unassuming.

He offers him a smile, and moves in for one last brother hug.]
