[When someone offers you tea, you take it. Through the serving window in the adjacent kitchen they watch as Eliza sets the kettle on the stove after filling it, and she glances towards them.
"What kind of hunters? The ones that have been chasing you?"]
Pretty much. But it wasn't coordinated like their usual work. It was an attack of opportunity.
Either, because they pinged my signal, or found Isaac. Or, me with Isaac. I'm William. Tech and gadgetry. On your side. On... anyone's side who just wants to live peacefully.
[Eliza nods because she understands. She can see the newness on you. "Every year, the witches of this coven have a big elder meeting before a day full of celebrations. If they wanted to take out an entire coven? This would be the time to do it."]
The other elders have not necessarily been receptive to our warnings.
[Which isn't necessarily a judgment on them. Up until now, Monroe's mostly been an American problem.]
I know about that. You're outsiders. And, there are groups that prefer to take care of themselves, that believe they can. That's what's happening, isn't it?
( Someone either correct him or at least give him a silver star sticker? )
[Eliza shakes her head. "This coven has survived witch hunters, monster hunters and the bloody Men of Letters. We've proven that we can take care of ourselves. But that's still no excuse for us to get cocky."]
Eliza is very sensible in that respect.
["Any chance you and your little pack would be willing to keep an eye on things?"]
Some of them are heading out of town, but Gloria and I are here. We can at least help with the elders meeting tonight.
[Isaac put the earpiece in and then glances down at his watch.]
What time is the meeting?
[Eliza does the same, directing her eyes towards the clock on the wall. "Maybe an hour? Is that enough time for you to set up your little spy mission?"
I'll be set up in minutes. Just have to connect to your wifi.
( He's setting up, taking out his tablet and a separate keyboard from his back. He hooks one cord up to the tablet and runs it behind her TV to see if she has -- she does not, so he grabs a male to female converter out of his Mary Poppins bag. )

They're the type that like to make statements. And all of our intel indicates that they've been overrecruiting, trying to build up to something big.
[Which may nor may not be attacking the Solstice.]

( Sorry, Eliza and company, William is perpetually playing a game of catch up. )

( Ha, like they have a choice in the matter. But he's still trying to be nice about it. )

[That's what he hired you for. Literally. Gloria just shrugs in agreement.]
Hopefully we'll be able to catch wind about what they're up to before things go wrong.

( It's as good as his part of a plan can be. )

Can you stay here and watch William's back while I go to the meeting with Eliza?
[Glora nods. "Are you sure going alone is a good idea?"]
I'm not alone. I've got Eliza.
[Eliza arrives with the tea and raises an eyebrow. "My confidence in my protector soars with each passing moment."
Isaac smirks.]
I'm also hoping I might be able to get a chance to try and convincing them to listen.
["Yeah, I have a feeling you're gonna be playing to the wrong room, love. But I'd love to see you try."][ ]

( He reaches into his backpack, pulling out one of his ear pieces and a small portable device. )
This way, we can listen in, and I can scan for other frequencies. Let you know if anybody's nearby.
( And if there are cameras, tap into those. But, he keeps that back! )

I got this.

Great. Good. This is good.
[Eliza looks at him, before shaking her head. "Relax and drink your tea, love. You've got a long night ahead of you."]
