Yeah, sort of. This friend I'm traveling with was stopping here to see some friends.

[He's putting that in heavy quotes, in his mind, because he doesn't believe Bonnie has any friends anymore. Except for Stefan. Otherwise the rest of them are highly suspicious.]

While she's seeing them, I thought I'd explore a bit.

( She nods, holding her phone to her chest, finally letting herself look back at him. )

Yeah, my sister's actually meeting family. Well, we call her family, but she's like, never in town, and our dad was her history teacher way way back when. So, I bailed. Exploring seemed like a much more fulfilling option. And, there aren't beautiful eyes at lunch. Clocks. The - clock symbols. They're called eyes, right?

I have ... no idea.

[Danny knows nothing about clocks. Well, he can read them, but that's about the extent of it.]

That kind of makes sense though, since clocks have faces?

Right. Yes. And grandfather clocks have - windows and eyes are the windows to the soul.

[He laughs.]

I would hope that you would spend your time on things much more interesting.

Like the adventure I singlehandedly went on while my friends goofed off by the Lennon wall.

( But, to illustrate that, she pulls up the video their group was sent of the boys horsing around right by it. She doesn't play the video long enough to show Kaleb and Jed attempting to seduce the poor Belle.

I don't deny my age, but shouldn't they want more than just wilding out on an international landmark?

[He laughs as he watches the video, a bit endeared by the prospect. He misses his friends. He never really had many outside the coven, but for the moment it's safer for him to be away from them.]

I don't know. Seems like they're having fun. That's kind of the point of a trip like this, right?

Yeah. Maybe. But, there's also more to do. There's all this history.

( Especially if you're a witch and not a vampire, or a werewolf. She has fun, but that's not her idea of fun. )

And you have to get it all done in one day?

[Usually people traveling to Prague make it a week at least.]

Maybe I like doing things on my own. I'm just used to them. And my sister's here, and I don't get me time. Are you dissing me time?

( He is doing nothing of the sort, Lizzie. )

[He holds up his hands in response, because that's not what he meant to say at all.]

[Maybe it's because his sister is gone, and she's not coming back, that he can't imagine wanting something as futile is me time. If he had to do an entire Prague vacation with Bridget planning the itinerary and no room for breaks, he would say yes in a heartbeat because it would mean she was alive enough to plan it.

But she's not, and he's alone, and this girl doesn't know that.

He doesn't want to turn this into a pity conversation.]

Okay, Mr. Curious. Who are you here, with? Since you're taking your own me-time.

( She knows nothing of his tragic backstory, so instead she flirts as she crosses her arms. )

She's visiting some of her own friends in the city, but I decided to pass. I've met some of her other friends, and I'm starting to doubt anyone she calls a friend actually is one.

[Little does he know that they're both ditching the same adult.]

The first one I met was shady as fuck.

[Even though they were in a tense situation, it's a valid assessment of David.]

And then the other one had this concerned face, and it lived in this weird uncanny valley spot where you can't tell if he's puttin' you on or not.

They both sound shady AF, you're probably right to ditch your family friend. Did you have anything planned or is this a play-it-by ear situation?

( Sometimes her dad and mom's lingo rubs off on her. She's still chic and super hip. )

There was this other friend that I was thinking about tracking down.

[That being Isaac, for the highly personal reasons he's not talking about.]

I heard he might be in Prague, though I'm not sure for how long.

So, shady runs in the friend of the family family?

( She keeps her flirt up. )

Is he or isn't he? I could help, I'm really good at finding people.

[He smiles, because that certainly would be helpful, even if she just manages to get lucky.]

I've heard from a friend that he's in town, I'm just not sure where, or when he's leaving.

( Magically, but also in small towns. Prague is... big. But, she could see what she can do. As for the information she has to go on! )

All these friends, Danny. Do you know where he frequents? Why he's here? Could you ask that friend?

Isaac probably has a hotel somewhere?

[There, one of the mysterious friends has a name.]

But he's got this tech wizard that he travels with, so I don't even know what names the rooms are booked under. And I know do know why he's here, but that doesn't really help much.

[He's just hoping that Isaac isn't right.]

So, you're longshotting maybe finding Isaac, who might be staying in a hotel under a celebrity pseudonym because a Felicity Smoak travels with him? Do you think that maybe you're the shady one here?

( Do shady people have shady friends. His accent is cute, though. )

I just said that I was put off by other shady people.

( Yeah, it definitely does the trick. She has a type, after all. )

I'd like to think I've got minimal shade. Like a tree at noon.
