Then we get terrified, like children waking in the dark, we don't know where we are.
( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )
I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.
( She sighs.
From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.
A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.
Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.
Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.
The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

[So he's giving her the option. He can wait if she wants to take a nap.
"I'm a siphon. Would that help at all?"]
It might if things go bad, but can't say for sure.
no subject
But, Bonnie is here, either way. )
It sounds like if anybody can do this, it's you.
no subject
"I'll check it out. You focus here."
David nods as she slips out of the room, before turning back to the group.]
Okay. Then let's sit and get comfortable.
[And as they do, he reaches for the box.]
Now, think of this box like a friendship bracelet. Let's say the blue thread is Bonnie's magic. That's the one we want, but we have to unknot it from the yellow and red and green. So just be delicate, be careful, and take your time. We're not in a rush.
[He then turns to Bonnie.]
Your magic is yours - it's going to want to return to you. It recognizes that it's a part of you. So be open to it, but don't try to pull it in too fast. Make sense?

( Kind of. Mostly, she plans on sitting cross-legged with everyone, hoping David and the girls can pull this off. It's easy to visualize her magic returning to her. It has in many forms over the years, from becoming the anchor, to ending up in the prison world, and finally to realizing it's always been in her. The other losses have been more traumatizing, and she is no stranger to being just human. But, it feels wrong and always will.
If this is right, then it should work.
Delicately. )

[He settles them all into a circle, placing the box in the middle before holding out a hand to a witch on either side of him.]
Repeat after me...
[And with that he'll lead them in the incantations. David's doing the best (20), which is making up for how Josie is doing which is okay, but not great (12).]

no subject
She can do this. She's a Mikaelson witch. While this does require delicacy, he trusts that she can navigate it.
Josie takes a breath and comes back stronger (18), starting to gently pull off some of the threads they don't need.]
no subject
How do we know which is Bonnie's?
no subject
[The multicolored weave of magic plumes out of the box, but some of them pull more directly towards Bonnie, reaching out to come home again.]
no subject
It's either the gold or the green.
( And, intertwined, they both pull toward Bonnie. )
no subject
no subject
It's the gold.
no subject
[He glances across to Josie.]
Siphon what you can of the green. Bonnie can handle the rest.
[Josie nods, reaching out her hand towards the green strand that's farthest from Bonnie and drawing it into herself slowly.]
no subject
In seconds, the strand is gone, having sped up, Josie absorbing the entire strand.
Bonnie's finishes its' journey, not rushing, ending at her fingertips. )
no subject
I didn't mean to do that.
["It's okay. Let's just finish up."
He'll then do his best to direct the remaining magic back into the box, leaving Bonnie's magic as it slips into her finger tips and come back home where it belongs.]
no subject
Are you okay?
no subject
[She shakes out her hands and she feels weird. But not bad weird. It's just ....]
I haven't had this much magic since ... since I broke the sand clock. But it's not dark magic, it's just ... different.
[Is this what it feels like to have magic all the time? It's weird. She then looks to Bonnie.]
How're you?
no subject
"I'm fine. Did you take all of that strand?" )
no subject
[She then looks over at David.]
Is there a way for me to give it back? You said it works with offensive or defensive magic, right? What if I just cast a spell?
[David runs a hand over his face. "I don't know. You may be a siphon with no magic of your own, but I can't guarantee that it won't take your ability to siphon." He reaches for the box and nods. "Let me go look into it. I'll see what I can find out, but for now ... maybe it'll just fade away, like magic normally does."]
no subject
( She holds her girlfriend's head, looking to Bonnie.
"David is right. We don't know enough. But, if it's not overwhelming you, Josie... You feel in control?" )
no subject
[She knows what that feels like, and this isn't it. She gives Bonnie a reassuring smile.]
I'm okay. Really.
[David nods the door lock sounds, indicating Lizzie and Danny's arrival. "If you're all good here, I'm going to go try and figure out where this came from."]
no subject
( If Josie is good. She squeezes her hand. Bonnie for her part, gets up.
"Thank you. David." )
no subject
[And with that, he will head to the bathroom door, slip inside, and head off to Harvey's office, leaving Bonnie in the care and keeping of her teens.
Josie watches him go, before shaking her head. "He's really weird."]
