( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )

I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.

( She sighs.

From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.

A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.

Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.

Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.

The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

( The man is unable to push through the pain of getting his ass kicked, (6). It's no longer a fight.

"And faster," Elijah agrees. "I don't think these run of the mill hunters focusing on witches should be supplied with vervain." He walks over to the guy and to Danny. "You. Does vervain mean anything to you?"

"Whaaaat?" he manages, continuing to hold himself. )

[Bela moves over as well, making eye contact and forcing her will over his as best she can.]

Tell me your deepest, darkest secret.

( "I killed someone. It was dark, I'd been drinking. I didn't see them until it was too late. I - I drove away." He stares into her eyes as he relives this painful night.

So. He's a murderer.

[She brushes a hand over the top of his head.]

You won't remember that you saw anyone in this room, aside from your friend. As far as you know, Danny Brighton and his witch friends have left Prague, and you don't know where they went.

[She then tips her head to the side.]

And you lost your phone when you went out last night. Must have left it at dinner. You'll have to get a new one.

[That should tie up everything nicely.]

What about Sleeping Bitchy?

( She's asleep, but she has her memory intact. )

Would it be worth it to wake her up to compel her, or would you rather do your memory juju?

[Danny shrugs. "I can?"]

If you get it over with, we can get that phone to your guy.

( William or whatever. )

Yeah, got it. Won't take long.

[With her asleep, there'll be minimal resistance. He finishes up the spell, and they will head back out into the hotel, and then upstairs to where the witches are?]

( Yes, I don't see why not, we can fold them in into the other thread.

Meanwhile, Elijah takes off his jacket to inspect his ruined shirt. )

[Presumably out of the room with the whammied hunters and on their way to somewhere safer? Bela follows his eyes with a sigh.]

I'll buy you another one.

These hunters were truly amateurs, even in their gun safety.

( Which is how Elizabeth got one off in his direction. Oops. )

And to think, hunters used to have standards.

[It's really a tragedy how far the noble profession has fallen.]

You sure you're alright?

The pain has subsided. It was an honest mistake.

( And with that, he'll ask how things went with the dark object - but wait. He owes someone a call.

Back in their own hotel, Elijah steals a moment away on the balcony and calls Jo. )

[She picks up the phone as soon as she sees his name on the caller ID.]

Elijah?

Your children are all accounted for. They are indeed staying in their hotel. But, they have made connections and their presence there is being kept hush hush.

( Maybe start with that. )

[She's waiting for the catch.]

What connections are those?

A hacker named William. There are hunters here, but two have been taken care of and they will not remember your children, or the witch they're with. Are you familiar with Danny Brighton, or the Knightsbridge Coven?

( Down below, the traffic passes. )

The coven, yes. They were attacked a few months ago.

[Before Mystic Falls. She remembers it being the first sign that something was wrong.]

How did they get tied up in that?

Bonnie Bennett and her associate were captured. Daniel Brighton tracked your daughters down.

( At least, that's what he thinks. )

[And that makes some aspects if the earlier phone call make sense.]

Is Bonnie okay?

Bonnie is safe, and as far as I know, her magic was returned to her. David Gainor successfully extracted it.

( He's not sure how much she knows and how much she doesn't. )

Ahh, so that's where he popped off to this morning.

[Now it is all making sense.]

I can't say I'm surprised. We seem to find trouble wherever we go lately.

Trouble does tend to seek the former and current residents of Mystic Falls. While they are safe, I can't speak to what their next move will be, or how any of this has to do with the impending solstice. Perhaps you could shed some light, I believe my mother's grimoires were donated. It is possible she recorded something useful.

( Hope will eye roll at this, but Elijah is only doing his duty. Jo is a parent and she deserved answers. )

I'll see what I can find. Solstices could be any number of things, but I'll do some digging.

[Hopefully she'll find something fast enough.]

Let Bela and I know if you need another wellness check. We've decided to return to the States, but not few a few more days.
