( Allison signs off, as Bonnie sits down in her robe, freshly showered. Room service is probably not on either of their own dime, but the gesture is still cute. She evaluates whether that's a good thing, finding Isaac cute.

It has been a while since she's thought something like that, especially about someone who might think the same of her. )

You're not going to face plant into any soup, will you?

( Likewise. Despite being tired, she has an urge to look the part. She's been kidnapped, on the run, and desperately fighting hunters. It's been a few days since she dressed to impress.

For fun, I rolled. She got a (19).

Keeping her phone on her, she heads down the hall and knocks. )

[Isaac does not roll as well. But since this is Isaac he does look put together, just likely more casual. All of his nice clothes either have blood on them or dirty.

But he opens the door and flashes her a smile.]

[And it's a nice room. William has standards and Allison has the money.]

( Well, they did just go through hell by normal standards. She's not going to hold it against him. Hers is more a natural glow.

Hers and Danny's rooms are more modest, but still upscale. After all, they all chose the same hotel. )

No, I was checking in with Allison.

[Had to do that while it was still daylight hours in America.]

But the good news about that is that I'm heading into your neck of the woods.

( The hunter. It seems in Mystic Falls there's more to keep track of than ever. Her (1) makes it crystal clear this is good news, like, could it a better kind of news. )

Really. That is good news. How long has it been since you've been back to the states? You've been running internationally for a long time, right?

I have. And it's been good. But ... I miss home.

[Not so much Beacon Hills, but his family.]

It's been a long time since I've seen my pack on anything other than a screen. Except for Jackson and ...

[He makes a face.]

Jackson is not the one you want to spend time with.

It doesn't sound like it. ( Note to self: don't meet Jackson. ) So, Allison and your pack, they're staying, then.

( It doesn't sound like she's the only circumstance. )

They're buying a house. I'm not sure how long it's going to hold, but ... it's some degree of permanence.

[For whatever that's worth.]

But I do know that it's mostly because Stiles' vampire sensei is in Mystic Falls and she's still teaching him the ropes. And we really don't want to unleash him on the world before he's ready.

Caroline wouldn't let him run wild if she thought he were a danger to anyone, or if he wasn't ready. He's in good hands.

I figured. I don't think Allison and Scott would have stuck around if they didn't trust her.

[Though he does look up at her curiously as he passes her the room service menu.]

Are you planning on heading back?

( Thank you for the menu. )

It depends on Danny. We were in Scotland, but he's getting tired of what he sees as waiting.

( And the hunters have done it again. )

A good or bad something?

[He assumes it's good, but it's a question worth asking. You never can tell - after all, Deucalion saw something in Scott, but he still wanted him to murder his pack to be part of Deucalion's twisted alpha collection.]

It could tip to bad, if more tragedy is revisited, or if the wrong person draws him in. Witches tend to get wrapped up in vampire drama. But, we're all wrapped up, anyway.

( Working together. )

He also reminds me of me. I lost my grandmother and my dad, both to the supernatural. And I died once, too. I'm... afraid if I leave him alone his heart won't recover from what's happened.

Merlot. And it's from here, so it should be earthy.

( Bonnie has studied up some on wine since she chose a more international life. )

And we need to get something with vegetables. No more diner food. ( She smiles to herself, considering her seating options. She decides on the loveseat, it feels safe. ) Not that that wasn't a - light version of what I feel like being on the run might be. I was the pursuer, once.

And protein. Technically I'm still healing so the more calories the better.

[But he'll happily let her order, as long as the food is good.]

Who were you pursuing?

One of my best friends, but, at the time we weren't on good terms - and his brother. This obsessive strength and urge to kill vampires was passed to me.

( The stories they could share. )

Sort of like the calling to be a vampire slayer, but more drilled into you, and only one of them. And I was the last at the time.

[That sounds terrible, and he would have hated the idea of hunting his friends.]

I was a fugitive once. From the actual law.

[He hesitates, because this might be too heavy, but he has a feeling it will happen anyway.]

For a couple of months they thought I killed my dad.
