Look for any last minute acquisitions. Foreclosures, or lots for cheap. Dead owners, anything bought at auction. Something the bank may have given a deal on. They say they'll do their background check, but most of the time the bank or whatever is selling the property is just happy to get rid of it. And the state rarely wants it.
