[She nods, twisting the top of the mechanism. The box makes a skin-crawling ticking sound, before Cooper suddenly takes a deep breath as air comes back into his body, followed by coughing as his lungs remember how to work again.]
( He can't believe it, but Cooper is breathing. There's an awkward half kneel/collapsing movement as he braces himself but, finds Cooper's arm and then hand. His fingers interlock and he squeezes, not saying anything, not - wanting to jinx everything. )
[His hand reaches out to grasp whoever touches him, and eventually his eyes open to find William's. It's then followed by a small smile as he squeezes his hand back.]
( He leans forward and finds his lips, not making a show of it, but showing how lost he'd felt only an hour before. He brings his lips to Cooper's knuckles after. )
I have a feeling anything on my end of things is going to be rather low key, no?
[Bela nods. "Freya reached out and they're gathering everyone at the cemetery. We could likely set you both up at the Abattoir since William's area of expertise can be more remote, while your sister comes to be boots on the ground?"
Mia shrugs. "Not gonna lie, punching something sounds like a good time right now." Though does she mean the bad guys are does she mean Bela. Hard to tell.]
