Coming downstairs in the small historical hotel she found on short notice with a late check-in, she has her hair pulled into a messy pony tail. Hoping for a continental breakfast, she starts her journey toward the coffee smell.
Scott gives her a ride to the bayou, and after a tearful embrace of their own, she tries to help where she can, too.
Instinctually, she feels it before it happens. Lydia's here. She turns back with enough time to take the hug and not get surprised by it. )
I promise I will loop you in the next time I need to fake my death.

[She pulls back with a sigh, looking at her best friend and hoping that there's never a day where one of these close calls is for real. She knows the odds aren't high - she's a death omen, and the fear that she may outlive all of her loved ones is a real one, but for now, everyone is okay.]
I'm so glad you're okay.
no subject
Me too. And, I lived out the clock Klaus' blood put on me. Two dodged bullets.

[Lydia glances back over her shoulder at Sam, who is being very tall but waiting very patiently as bestie time comes first. She then turns back to Allison with a small smile.]
I'm going to go find a room and check on Scott. But I'll find you later?
no subject
Okay. I owe you more time. I promise. Thank you for coming.

Which leaves her and Sam, lingering that careful distance away, waiting for permission to approach. Things between them are so new that he's not sure what the safe reaction is here. All he knows, is that he's very glad she's alive.]
Hey.
no subject
( His hey is met with her in his arms and a public, brief kiss. )
I'm sorry I worried you. I'm sorry I worried all of you but I'm not sorry you're here.

[At least for now. It's always only for now. He slides his arms around her and keeps her close.]
Want to go somewhere and talk?
[Because Sam's the kind of boyfriend who actually likes to talk about feelings.]
no subject
And if I tell you I'm fine, just a little tired?
no subject
[He looks down at her, giving her a soft look.]
But I'm also here if you're not.

She didn't back down. She didn't surrender. She just - fought to the bitter end. She gave me no choice, it's like she wanted me to --

[He murmurs softly, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.]
I think in her head, it was the only way it was going to end. Her or you. She wasn't interested in surrendering.
no subject
( For the first time in days, she lets her body sink, relax, and curl into him. Onlookers be damned. )
It's like I created her.
no subject
[It's a feeling he's familiar with, because when it comes to being a famous name in the hunting world, how people react in response can be complicated.]
She may have tried making this about you, but that's not on you. That's not something you could control.
no subject
( She looks up at him. )
I know I had no choice.
( But she still regrets it. )
no subject
[For better or for worse, they have to feel it. It's when they stop feeling it that they start getting into trouble.]
And it's what makes you different from her.
[Because he has a feeling that Monroe wouldn't have lost a minute of sleep for killing Allison.]
no subject
( Can she get one more hug? )
no subject
I know. Me too.
no subject
You know I like you?
no subject
I would hope so. I like you too.

[He's more than willing to be her nap partner, any time.]
Want me to go with you to the bayou?

( She needs to draw the line. Her friends, the people they help, can't trigger a Winchester. She likes him a lot, but prejudice will end them quickly. )
no subject
I can play nice with the werewolves. Unless you think it would be better if I didn't go.
[Just because he is a Winchester and he knows the weight of his name.]

( They will have their own time soon! )
