She half-swats her away, leaning back. She brings another hand in front of her. )

[Fine, if you won't let her be concerned, she'll be annoyed instead.]

( Oh, don't be that way. )

I think so. It blocked my magic. I played hostage. It's fine, Jaq. I'm fine. I promise.

[Look, feelings are hard. She doesn't know how to deal with them on a good day and this is not a good day. But her face will soften in response and she'll back off.]

As long as you're sure.

( She knows, Jacqueline. )

I'm sure. I'm not at full strength, but it's not the drugs. Prague was a setback. And I thought reestablishing our alliance would prove fruitful, but instead paranoia got the best of her. And, she found another supplier.

( She shakes her head. )

I know I made the right call, but that exit won't win me any good will. And, I'm on not one, but several group's radar.

[She moves over to the laptop she left on the table, dragging it closer so she could use it.]

If only we had a solution for that.

We'd need someone on the other side. Flipping that switch speeds up the time table with your reintegration. We'd be cut off except for when we could astral project. Are we there?

( Are they anywhere? Ten years went down the drain with that spell. )

Well, what do we need?

[Breaking the plan down into actionable pieces has always been her strong suit.]

Another solstice? Getting Danny Brighton off the board? Because we do this, we flush him out.

[A beat.]

Besides, David's got Harvey Specter poking around, asking unfortunate questions. Maybe it's time we put a little more direct interference in their way.

Danny Brighton dying would delay us another who knows how many years. Another heir would have to be born directly into the bloodline. And barring going after a certain Gainor, Danny is our best bet.

( Taking Gainor off the table puts too many eyes on her. )

Direct, but short-lived. I'm not opposed to tripping Harvey Specter up, but he's not in our demographic.

( An (8) means she's not so deep into his life she knows Donna. )

[Yeah, her girlfriend is (19).]

He has an incredibly well-connected vampire working for him and several covens on retainer including ours. I think we want to make him more of an ally than an enemy.

[But that's a secondary problem. She tips her head to the side.]

So you're saying that we need to be able to control Danny. I think we can make that work. David was in Prauge, he has connections. Maybe we use that to our advantage.

How so, David can't know I'm involved and he should only tangentially know you're involved. We've worked hard at not connecting to one another. ( She smirks. ) As much as I love connecting with you.

The dead man's switch was Monroe's. Her trigger went off an hour ago. I paused it, because I'm amazing but there's nothing on it that ties it back to us. In fact, I'm on it. Why would I make myself a target?

[She steps closer, sliding her arms around her girlfriend's waist to pull her closer.]

You go to ground. Find out what you need to do before the next solstice. I'll go flush out our heir and keep David off your trail. This is our plan. Let me help.

I have no doubt the help you'll be. I'll just miss you.

( Which is the extent of feelings she can exude for the day. )

We pull this trigger, it's itinerantur ( her ability and travel in latin ) in seconds. Any of those hunters get even a piece of you and I will eviscerate them.

I know you will.

[Jaqueline will probably eviscerate a few of her own too.]

But we can do this. It's the right move for where we are right now. And I think we'll still have a good thirty-six hours before we have to go radio silent.

[To help remedy the missing her part.]

And once this is done, we'll have all the time in the world.

We send them scrambling and you get in good with the Adin-Gainors.

( It does speed things up, but, when can't she resurface as someone's former bride. )

We'll have the time and the power to live in it.

Exactly. We're in the end stretch. We can do this.

[She smiles before leaning in to kiss her.]

Together, just like we wanted.

We're witches. Our end stretches are decades apart. But, at least we look good doing our victory lap.

( She smiles into the kiss, opening her eyes again. )

We'll find another way. And we'll hit them from all sides. We just need to save some time and buy me an alibi and you two allies. Or, one ally. Ezra is a nonstarter and might be more trouble than he's worth.

I think you underestimate him.

[But she'll figure it out. She knows which buttons she can play to try and get him on her side. But that's for future Jaqueline to worry about. She nods, before turning her attention back to the laptop.]

How much time do you need?

( Sierra underestimates most people. It's her fatal flaw. She thinks so highly of herself. But, ask her and she's the smartest one in the room. )

Let's give them just enough time for them to think they're in the clear. 24 hours. Then pull the trigger.

[She nods in agreement, and quickly sets the timer to do just that.]

It'll give me time to get back to life, and set the hunters up to find me.

And then we go from there. ...Seeing as we have hours...

( Her tank top is removed and you can guess the rest. It's the last night of the world and Jaq is Kim. Sierra will be Chris. )
