Well, you don't need a sanctuary now. -- When you're not being kidnapped. ( So, he's trying to be romantic but they're not quite to... Or are they. ) Maybe, while I'm in town, I can be your sanctuary. Even for a short time. I even promise you can sing on a stage after I board the plane, like, Bodyguard style.

[Pleasantly surprised, but still leaning more towards surprised. Still, that isn't the point. She nods as she reaches finishes locking things up.]

[Davina's probably never seen Star Wars either. They're a match.]

[But she takes his arm as they leave the mausoleum, heading out into the night air.]

( And they do, Scott explaining his life in California, being bitten and that learning curve. His mom and dad (their not being together) and his mom married to his ex's (Allison's) father. It's a little soap opera but he says it all with an earnestness. He just wants Davina to get to know him. )

[And Davina will contribute with coming into her own as regent in the Quarter after a tumultuous up and down with the Mikaelsons. She dances around the heavier stuff for a first date, but it's nice, to talk with someone about normal things.

They eat dinner and have beignets, and it goes late into the night, but most nights in New Orleans do. As they walk down the street, she turns back to him.]

How much longer until you have to leave?

[Not necessarily in a sexy way, if he doesn't want that. But she's starting to feel the exhaustion setting in, and she wants to spend as much time with him as possible.]

( Scott hesitates zero. It's -- a bit pitiful if someone with game were watching. But, it's Scott, and his smile is as wide as he is enthused to spend more time with her.
