The fact that it's only her and Cami here is honestly the most of an ideal situation. Rebekah didn't need this coparenting system to be made even worse under the judgment of her brothers' gazes, or their need to defend what little honor she has left. Cami, on the other hand, will hang back with Henry unless she feels Rebekah is in danger which Wynonna is a lot of things, but she doesn't think that the other woman is here to murder her ex-baby daddy's wife.

Mostly her mind is trying to do the math on how she could have seen the state of Rebekah and Doc's home when she left it locked up tightly for cleaning when things were safe, but she should have known that that wouldn't deter Wynonna any.]

Because everyone was fine. I'm sure he didn't want to worry you given that we were staying with my brother for a little while and not expecting you for another few days.

( What Wynonna is used to is Doc worrying for her, and she knows that's why he thinks he got a jump on acknowledging what happened. But, he didn't. He fibbed. Because he knows he used to be in love with a steamroller, flattening everything in her path. That's Wynonna. )

You and I both know, Doc didn't want me involved because I'd ask the relevant questions, like, why and who and who. As in, whose ass do I have to kick for sending my baby daddy into another zip code. Henry's okay?

( Still a mother, her worries do fall squarely on the child he shares with Rebekah. She doesn't doubt he's in one piece. But, she has no confirmation, Rebekah. Just a polite, obligatory text. Shameless. )

Henry is fine. He's in the next room with his aunt.

[She'll even let her see him, because she knows that Wynonna wouldn't do anything to harm her son. They are family after all, even indirectly. And Rebekah takes family very seriously - just as she takes Wynonna's concerns very seriously.]

( And Wynonna is the type that needs that proof in front of her eyes. She and Doc hated each other for a time, he deceived her before that, when it comes to everything Doc Holliday, she remains on edge. Maybe that contributed to why they couldn't get their acts together. )

[She nods, because yes they will, setting her cleaning supplies to the side as she gestures for Wynonna to follow her.]

Apparently someone put a list on the internet of known supernaturals and where to find them. Despite the fact that Doc is no longer a vampire, he and I were both on it, and some hunters came calling. But everyone is fine. Henry wasn't even there and the only things damaged were some furniture and assorted decorative items that can easily be replaced.

[Because that is a lot, she takes a pause before continuing.]

We've been told the list is down now, so no new enterprising hunters should be obtaining our information, but we're staying at my brother's until we're sure that all of them have given up on the idea of killing an Original.

( Wynonna tries to stay stone-faced, knowing her human baby daddy and his witch wife were attacked, but she's sated by hearing that Henry is alright and nobody is worse for the wear. Still, that could've been in the message. )

[Her hand comes up against the closed door of one of the dens, where she can hear Cami talking to Henry as they play. She pushes open the door, and gestures for Wynonna to go in ahead of her.

The small dark-haired boy is sitting on the floor, telling his aunt a very detailed story that would only make sense to a three year-old. Cami looks up at the other two women and offers Wynonna a hesitant smile.]

Wynonna Earp, Camille O'Connell. Cami is my brother Klaus's wife.

[She crouches down next to her son.]

Henry, darling, you remember your Aunt Wynonna don't you?

[He looks up briefly and nods before going back to his toys. "Hi, Aunt Nonna."]

( Wynonna doesn't barge in, like she did the front door. Instead, she pushes the one door open wider, stepping inside. It's always surreal coming face to face with a kid that Doc made that's not hers, but he's still a gift, an angel sent down to two lost souls who found each other, or Doc had once told her. It's impossible to resent a three year-old (well, someone else's) or Wynonna would have more of a problem.

Instead, she waves to Cami and drops down to Henry's level. )

Camille. Pretty. Hey, Hen. You've gotten taller.

( Lowering herself more, she fully sits, all of the anxiousness she carried to the front door falling out of her. )

He's okay. ( To Cami. ) Were you there when Henry's mommy and daddy's friends dropped in unannounced?

Oh, no. We were still en route from New Orleans. But fortunately they had it all under control.

[Henry accepts this new addition to his play area and picks up one of the bright red fire trucks and passes it over to her. "You're the fire fighter." He doesn't care what the adults are talking about, he just needs you to fit into the scene in his mind.]

As long as my name's not Charlie.

( Do your best, kid. Also not Julian. But, that hits everything too close to home and she doesn't need Henry randomly remembering the name Julian. Charlie is a safer, more random, and innocent name. Like Charlie Brown or Charlie Bucket. )

Well, thousand year old witch, hundred year old cowboy. You probably had it on lock. Doesn't mean I wasn't worried. Retroactively. Now.

[Even if they one hundred percent weren't expecting her. Henry seems to accept the name of not Charlie with a great ponderance as he tries to think of a good name.

In the meantime, Rebekah heads to sit on the couch across from them.]

( Yes, Artie is perfect.

Because she has something she and the Earp coffers can afford, but she's already giving Rebekah's high ceilings the once-over they deserve. )

Well, we also have my brothers in tow, and I wouldn't blame you for wanting to avoid Klaus and Elijah's scrutiny and mind games.

[She's upfront about what a Mikaelson family dinner party would likely entail. Also she hasn't discussed that with her husband yet, but she can't imagine he'd say no.]

But if you'd like to stay here instead of a hotel, you're welcome. Or we could always put you up.

As much as I'd love to crash your dead man's party, I will take you up on the offer of upgrading my digs.

( Earps aren't that proud. Living the high life for a few days (and the minibar) sounds good. )

[And she will leave Wynonna with Cami and Henry. While she calls the hotel, she also sends a text off to her husband:]

[She knows Wynonna well enough to know that at least.]

She didn't take you at your word that you were fine and then broke into our house and discovered the mess the hunters left. I'm putting her up in a hotel, but I thought you should know.

She has accepted her new accommodations? Without stipulations?

I gave her the choice of us paying for a hotel or staying here with Klaus and Elijah. She took the wiser of the two options.
