Alys' special tricks have always been mind-related, but she picks and chooses. She does not take advantage like that. Well, she has, but that is a story for another age. She, like everyone else, is not perfect.
The swing hits Doc hard because of close proximity (2) and it knocks him back, too. He steadies himself against the wall, looking around to see if there is anything he can use as a weapon from a distance (9) for spot. )
[It's not a six-shooter, but Dolls will drop and slide his clock across the floor to his friend. A gun is usually much better in Doc's hands.
Muscle 2 jumps on the opportunity, winding around on the other side of Leader and taking a swing (14 vs. 10). The punch connects, hard, and Leader blinks back at him with a frown.
"What is wrong with you?" She then shoves him backwards (8 vs. 1), and Muscle 2, goes down hard.
In the mean time, Dolls vs Muscle 1 is still ongoing (2 vs. 2, 19 vs. 20), while Dolls manages to get a week one off before ducking under Muscle 1's swing.]

Muscle 1 screams as the bullet hits his foot (8), and Dolls takes advantage of the distraction to try and take him out (15 vs. 18), but Muscle 1 just remembers to dodge.
Muscle 2 and Leader are just continuing to tangle in a corner (8 vs. 8, 17 vs. 3), and Leader gets off a hard hit with the baton and Muscle 2 stumbles back.]
Dolls turns back to look at the struggling pair (8 vs. 11, 14 vs. 13), as Muscle 2 manages to get a hit off.]

[Leader steps back and shakes her head. "Enough of this." And she lifts her hand to try and snap the mesmerism spell (8). She probably doesn't win though.]
( With this course of action not working, Aalis changes her technique, focusing on unlocking the magic itself, her fingers working at undoing the protective magic. It is slightly more effective but still difficult (12) )

"Hey, we recovered that shit fair and square. You don't know what's coming. We're not going to be sitting ducks while the Colony comes to slaughter us."]
[These objects are powerful, but not so powerful that a competent witch can't destroy them (3). The magical objects dissolve into dust - mission accomplished.
The Leader groans, throwing her hands up as she watches that happen. "No! We procured them for us because a bunch of old ass witches are about to get their murder on."]
( Aalis would like one thing to be made clear as she closes the - quite beautiful ornate treasure chest she picks up for herself. Turning she smiles, holding it close. )

Procuring your killing devices would only delay those old-ass witches and their... murder. You can feel it. The gauntlet has not been thrown. And should you want nothing to do with the head of any coven, should you not buy into American Horror Story and their "Supreme" idea, you could choose to not get your own murder on. But, I suppose that's your choice.
( She sighs, approaching the leader. She holds the box close to her as she brings one hand up, her fingers doing something that resembles sign language. )
[The Leader brushes off the spell (18), focusing on the matter at hand.
"You know it's not that simple. The Gauntlet won't just be the heirs and whoever thinks they might be able to fight their way into being in charge. Anyone could have their enemies coming out of the woodwork looking to take people out and blame it on the Gauntlet. Even you, strega."
So yes, she's a little pissed. But she also knows when she's beat and is staying on the defensive for now.]

Dolls rounds up to swing on Muscle 1 (12 vs. 15), and the guy recovers from dragon surprise to duck and swing back (6 vs. 11).
Leader takes the swing to the gut (11) but twists to try and get a hold of Doc's arm and get him to drop the baton (9).]
