But as Luke examines Carol, he'll notice the same things that Davina noticed when she was examining Erica: the magic is wholly unfamiliar, something he's never seen before, but he can see that there's no switches waiting to be flipped, or changes waiting to be triggered. The spell is complete. It's just hard to really tell what it was.]
( Luke feels the unfamiliarity of the magic, but that there are no kill zones or off switches, and lets out a very simple "Huh," when he opens his eyes. It's as if the spell happened, and was completed how it needed to be. But there is no trace. )
[Liv takes a breath and course corrects, now that she's prepared for what's actually happening (16). What she finds is mostly similar to Luke and Davina and she pulls back with a frown.]
I'll second that "huh." This is nothing I've seen before, but from what I can tell it's done. No catch waiting in the wings.
"Whatever spell brought you back. It's open and closed, like a full circle." He faces everyone in the kitchen now. "Most spells cast, they're open ended and they have an origin, who cast it, what type of magic, where did it come from, this... there isn't a trace, nor is there a way to undo it, as if the magic did what it needed to, brought you all forward."
["So we're here for good? Or at least until we die again?" Carol just wants to be clear that that is what they're saying. Liv nods as she steps back from Charlie.]
From what we can tell, yeah.
[She won't say that Carol could be hit by a bus tomorrow and it wouldn't be the spell's fault, but she doesn't want to believe that fate would be that cruel. At least for Tyler's sake anyway.
She moves over to lean against him, a small gesture of reassurance, that everything is okay for now. No other shoe waiting to drop.]
("But, whatever you were before, you are now. Char - Juli -- Charjuul is an angel. Mrs. Lockwood, you're human. There is nothing different about you, but also there are no guarantees. You're not immortal. You're just...")

Waverly is still trying to wrap her head around a lot of it, and is going back and forth on her conversation with Sam and how she now wants to ask the other man more questions. Nephilim is a fine point on an existence that she's been mostly floating through. And Sam's phrasing seems to indicate there are more of them.
But that's maybe a conversation for later.]

I'll take your word for it. And I can't really say I blame you for not knowing how to handle any of this when none of the rest of us do.

We can stay here as long as you want, but long term, Wynonna and I have been living in New York. You could come back with us, if you want, while you figure things out.

And if we're honest, Julian and I didn't really have a lot of time to form expectations. Even if you were him one hundred percent we'd be starting from scratch anyway.
