I kind of have to agree with Ken on this one, Em. It's good to know what we're potentially dealing with. This isn't just some rando coven.

Once I had answers, you all would have. Unfortunately, our stepbrother started in metaphors and ended near tears.

Here are the facts. In a desperate attempt, Elton sided with the older generation of the Colony. He tricked Ezra and took him. He took his place in their ceremony. During the ceremony, he expected the coven's power, but learned that all the coven wanted was the next generation's bodies. And when push came to shove, he fought back and chose his side. But the ritual still went through. (The first, not the body snatching one.) So, now, according to Elton, he's tied to them directly. And will need to report back to solidify his place.

But, he's still grieving. So, it's fucking shit timing all around.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But, it doesn't sound like something breakable. It sounds like it takes precedent and like it's going to define the rest of his life. He will, technically, be bound to this other witch - and the others in their circle.

I don't know. This is out of my depth. Maybe he will have more answers.
