Katherine stayed tight-lipped, but, Caroline thinks it stands to reason the witch should be from one of the Colony's bloodlines. Because of Matt and Jo.

Good point. Do we know anything about the coven?

They're called the Colony. Came over during the 1600s and set up shop in the colonies, and have basically been causing problems ever since.

The mess that started all of this was the elders trying to conduct this ritual to steal the bodies of their heirs to wear them like meatsuits.

Oh good I was thinking it was just Purgatory that had the crazy witches. Good to know that's not the case.

I don't like the word meatsuit, but, he's right. This was information only recently uncovered. They were a dark organization, but everything they put out betrayed everything they actually wanted. Namely. Bodies.

So, someone from one of these family lines is running around with this woman named Isobel. Those are a lot of names to cross-reference.
