["And he didn't like me because I called him out on it. And I was a witch," Shelia shakes her head. "He was one of those men who didn't enjoy being called a hypocrite."]

( "I haven't met Sophie, is she a friend of Hayley and Aiden's?" Another wolf? )

( She gives Isaac a playful look at that. )

This is a really nice house. You said the original plan before all things Monroe was for some of you guys to stay here?

[She shrugs. "More Scott and Davina's, I think. She's a vampire, but she helps humans? Mostly by destroying powerful people who are hurting the little guy."

Isaac glances around before shrugging.]

They were planning to stick around for a while so Stiles could learn from Caroline. And it seemed like a lot of things were converging on Mystic Falls. And then Allison wound up moving to Kansas.

[Sam's head ducks with a bit of a blush, and shrugs. "Worked out well for me, anyway."]

( Like Robin Hood."

And, to be fair, Monroe released everyone's names. That's what sent all of us on the road. Not that I would thank Tamara Monroe for anything.

( Joining them, Allison links arms with Sam.

"Worked out well for me, too," she says with her own smile. "Derek."

"Allison. Sam." )

["Basically yeah," Erica agrees, before following her out with the rest of the group.

"We definitely aren't thanking Monroe for anything," Sam agrees, before glancing over and smiling at Allison as she joins them. "She doesn't get the credit."

Shelia flashes Allison a smile, before holding out a hand.]

And you must be Allison. Shelia Bennett.

Bonnie's grandmother. It's nice to meet you. And welcome to our home. Did I hear that you knew Sam when he and Dean were in Mystic Falls as kids?

( "Yep, she recognized - well, his name. He was not that tall, then." Dean was the tall one. )

[Shelia nods.]

I was an occult studies professor in my past life. And Sam had a lot of questions.

[Sam shrugs. "There wasn't a lot to do in Mystic Falls. I like to learn, and you are a good teacher."

Shelia nods.]

I try. It helps to have a good student.

He's great with research.

( She squeezes his wrist. )

Does everyone want to see their rooms?

Please. We need to get settled and then there is a party to get ready for.

[And Shelia also does love a good party.]

( Allison leads everyone (and Sam, if he'd like) through the house, basically picking rooms arbitrarily, save for Bonnie's grandmother's. She has a room almost as large as the master with her own en suite.

Derek is comfortable anywhere and gets the room next to Erica but across from Stiles and Cora. Jackson and Alexander are at the end of the hall and Allison and Sam are on the main floor's primary bedroom.

Speaking of Jackson, a little bleary-eyed, he opens his eyes to the busy hallway. )

He does exist.

[Not that Erica should antagonize Jackson, but if he's going to poke his head out, she will at least make her presence known.]

Hi, Jackson.

And you exist, again. ( He's happy he has sweat pants on, but he realizes he's in mixed company and not just the pack. He steps forward at least. ) Jackson Whittemore. No relation.

Shelia Bennett. One relation.

[She gestures to Bonnie to indicate the relation in question.]

[Alexander does look up from the text conversation he's having with someone for work things, waiting to see if his boyfriend is going to linger in this conversation and expect him to be included as well.]

( The door's still open and widens a bit, too as he looks back. If he to be a part of this, then so does his boyfriend. )

You're Bonnie's grandmother. Welcome back to the land of the living. How does it feel.

Disorienting, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

[Sigh, fine, Alexander will get up and make his way to the door, before offering a nod. "Alexander Abernathy. Nice to meet you as well."

Shelia nods in turn.]

Nice to meet you as well, Alexander. I heard of a witch named Abernathy. Good with runework.

[Alexander nods. "That's my dad."]

( He's a piece of work, but he'll gossip later on. There's something no-nonsense he likes about this lady. )

I like to think of it as my final form. Any side effects, yet?

Not so far. Davina said that whatever spell was cast on us didn't have any lingering triggers.

[Which doesn't necessarily mean no side effects, but it does mean that they're not waiting for another shoe to drop.]

Let's hope there isn't always a catch.

( Derek just stands there. He leans forward, to Alexander, nodding. It's good to be reunited in this cramped hallway. )

[Alexander will give a nod in return, but will mostly keep to himself unless attention is drawn to him.]

I mean, seems like there's always a catch. We just hope that they're not going to be bad ones.

[But she's not complaining about being alive again, even if Boyd is dead and all of her friendships are weird.]

There are ways around them. Or, they aren't catches. They're opportunities.

( Alexander, you're dating an opportunist.

"I remember the video of what you were supposed to become," Derek says, very helpfully. And of course, Jackson frowns. )

[Erica also frowns, glancing between the two of them before raising an eyebrow.]

Supposed to become?

[A beat.]

What, was he supposed to evolve? Like a Pokemon?

Derek's bite affected me differently. And some has-been bully took advantage. And, I bypassed the thing with wings. ( Being one. ) I'm better, now.

I remember the kanima part. I did not hear about the thing with wings.

["It's a mobile game on your phone now," Isaac replies helpfully.]

[She is not surprised that Jackson forgot she was even there. Even if he wasn't a kanima she was just not on his radar.]
