But the gist of it is that we've had some strange resurrections and alternate universe transplants over past couple days, and we're trying to figure out why and how it happened. Everyone is converging in Mystic Falls, so that's why we're in Virginia.

As for Mia, she's been going through a lot. Crankiness is also something that runs in the Queen family, if I remember correctly.
