I have heard but rumors of the eyebrows that speak volumes. Never had the pleasure of actually meeting the guy though.

[He glances between Jackson and Hayley.]

I take it that's who you need to locate?

He was taken.

( And Buffy, sitting back on her haunches, spray bottle in hand.

"And attacked." She looks from Alexander to Jackson. Her eyes meet Hayley's. Jackson's right, Alexander is cute, but she's not about to faux pas and say it out loud. )

Then guess we better get started.

[He rubs his hands together as he looks around. Hayley seems to return Buffy's look though, because this could be interesting.]

Do you have something of his?

We're not friends.

( And he doesn't live here. )

He drove his car down.

That'll work. I've got a map in my car, so just point me in the right direction.

[But before they can make their exit, Stefan emerges from the kitchen, wearing his concerned vampire face.

"Jackson, can we talk before you go?"

Alexander glances to the rest before gesturing to Hayley.]

Tell me which car it is, and we can get started. I'll take her to channel in case they decided to add some witch power.

( Buffy stands up, then as Hayley and Alexander head back out the door. )

What do you want, Stefan?

[Stefan waits until the footsteps are further down the way, before turning back to Jackson.]

There was an accident, on the way to the hospital. Lydia is okay, but Stiles is in transition.

[Which is a lot of information, and since Stefan doesn't know Jackson's relationship to Stiles, he's going to give him a minute.]

( Stiles Stilinski, the vampire. He barely emotes, letting a laugh burst air through his lips. )

So. Stiles. He's transitioning into...

A vampire. At least, if he chooses to.

[He leaves off the "if not, he'll die" part because he assumes that much is obvious.]

Look, we can take care of getting your friend back if you'd rather go to the hospital.

Stiles is not a friend.

( But, the information does matter. Lydia won't be in a good place. He sighs. )

Anything happens to Alex --

( Alex is not his to be protective over, but Stiles died. Will probably be the world's most annoying vampire. Unless he chooses to die. He needs to be at the hospital, for Lydia. He looks to Buffy, not warning her, but knowing she's involved.

He grabs his jacket and finds Lydia's keys to her rental car. He heads out the front door, but first down to Derek's parked car - which he finds by scent. )

["We'll have have back," Stefan attempts to reassure him, but there's a part of it that will always ring a little hollow in Mystic Falls. Especially since someone who is supposed to be out of danger is now dead.

Alexander, in the meantime, has a map spread out over the hood of the car, one foot propped up on the lower bumper to keep contact, and Hayley's hand in his. He makes a face as he tries to push back against the witch in question, but it's not quite enough.

He pushes back with a hiss as the barriers deflect him again, before turning to the two newcomers.]

Whatever witch they've got working with them is a beast.

What do you need, then? You could channel me, too. I'm also a hybrid.

( Without asking, he takes Hayley's other hand, to do something. Derek's not his friend, either, but Derek is pack. Derek also taught him more about controlling his wolf before he took off to London. He never told anyone that. )

It's not really a matter so much of creature but age.

[Unfortunately. He could see Jackson wants to help. Then he shrugs because why not.]

But it's not a hard and fast rule. The more the merrier. You want to get in on this daisy chain too, Eyebrows?

[Stefan rolls his eyes lightly, before moving to the opposite side to take Alexander's other hand. "Anything I can do to help."]

( Age, Jackson doesn't have them beat with. Stefan's older, he assumes, Hayley, he doesn't know. And Hayley is a different kind of hybrid. All the same, Jackson hopes this is enough. He doesn't get magic, druidic or anything in origin, but he knows it's around. )

[For a while it seems like it might be working. The small blobs of ink he dripped on the map start to move their way across the land like it's seeking something but eventually it stalls, pushing up against a barrier before he's forced backwards and the connection drops.

Alexander swears as he drops their hands and steps backwards, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyes.]

Shit. Whoever they've got shielding him has got some brute force power.

( Jackson lets go of Hayley's hand, inhaling. He should be with Lydia and, yeah, Stiles. If Derek's car won't work, what will? Breaking into his hotel room? He's read up on magic, always one to be studious but not one to flaunt it. While he's read only of druidic magic and the magic that anchors him, he knows there's something that will never dissipate between he and Derek. )

He turned me. Does that mean something?

[Alexander looks up at him, eyebrow raising curiously, before tipping his head to the side.]

How do you feel about bleeding?

Will it help find Derek?

( He doesn't care. He'll heal. He does check with Hayley and Stefan to see if they think this is a good idea. )

[Hayley looks more curious than dismissive. "What'd you have in mind?"]

The bond between an alpha and a beta is a metaphysical one. An exchange of power. He shared some of his with you so you're basically bonded for life, even if he's not an alpha anymore.

[It's like a tether, connecting two supernatural creatures, the same with a vampire and those turned by them.]

I can try to use that bond to lead us to Derek, and if the witch is throwing that much force at me, she might not be paying attention to the more subtle stuff.

He's not.

( He just needs to make that distinction.

But, he brings his hand up, presenting his palm. )

[Hayley glances to Stefan and raises an eyebrow. Stefan shrugs in return. "Worth a shot."

Alexander nods, before moving closer to the truck and readjusting the map. Then he pulls out a knife and holds his hand out for Jackson.]

Let's give it a shot?

( Eyes locking with Alex, he steps forward and sets his hand in Alexander's. )

If we can find Derek.

Stay close, Eyebrows. Just in case.

[Stefan nods, moving to lean against the car, so that Alexander can reach out if needed. He then takes Jackson's hand, turning it palm up and drawing the blade quickly and cleanly across the top.

Then he closes his eyes as he begins to chant, turning Jackson's hand over and letting the blood fall against the map, beginning to trace a path through the streets of Mystic Falls, out of town, and towards an isolated area.]

( Eyebrows. Will Derek claim the top Eyebrows spot when they find him? Jackson would like to see that, and to hear more nicknames from Alexander, if that means saving Derek and spending more time.

The slice to his hand is quick and not the most pain he's ever been through. This is a means to an end, and one he stepped up for. Literally. )

[Damon's already been labeled "Cheekbones," he's welcome to come claim it at anytime.

That being said, the blood comes up on the same resistance the ink did at first, but Alexander takes a breath, reaching over for Stefan's shoulder and continuing to push, but this time taking it a little more slowly and delicately, following the lines of the connection between Jackson and Derek until it came to a stop.

Not by force, but because it had found it's destination.]

And there is your werewolf.

[Hayley leans over Jackson's shoulder, before glancing to Stefan. "Should I call Klaus?"

Stefan considers, then shrugs. "It'll certainly help speed things along."

Alexander glances between the two of them before raising an eyebrow.]

I take it that means we're not doing this the Scott McCall way.
