Yeah. That was back when we were dealing with Cade. Damon had some ... useful first hand experience in that respect.
[He glances back to her.]
Is your friend okay now?

He's right as rain, now. Back on blood bags and tripping the soul fantastic. ( Which may be insulting considering Stefan's vampire species, but, she didn't say Stefan had no soul. ) Turns out Circe's not just a myth, not that most shit isn't. Is. Circe's some grand high witch and she liked his poetry.

Circe, huh? I didn't realize the gods were still hanging out.

( And where it comes from. Faith just kinda rolls with everything now. There's General B and everyone else. )

[But it's good to know that this is the field we're playing on now.]

( Something gods used to do all the time, but for their cause's benefit. Or, their own. )

[Dahlia wanted immortality and magic, and it's a good thing she didn't get it. No offense, Freya.]
But she wasn't a Mystic Falls problem. That was a New Orleans one.
no subject
Well, gods? Are everyone's problem. Should they yaknow, come back out. Some are dead and all. Hunters. Mostly, the Winchesters. Leave a bloody trail behind em.
no subject
[Too late, Stefan. Too late.]
Do you know if they work with the Slayers at all?
no subject
( If Stefan heard anything about Faith's origin, he'd know how funny this is. )

The Winchesters also have ... the weirdest rumors around them. They sound like a disaster.

( The graveyard is pretty foggy, even this early in the evening, as she hops out of the truck. )
Got any fresh obits?
no subject
[He points towards the far corner of the cemetery.]
These vamps come up a lot slower than mine do. Putting us in the ground is not a requirement.
no subject
Don't know what to tell ya, maybe it was somethin' they did a long time ago for dramatic effect. Most of the time, they're buried cause they died. Your vamps would freak if they woke up inside a coffin. Buried alive.
( she shivers. )
Not for me.
no subject
[He was technically buried alive once, though it was more like drowned. Never again.]
I'm not too good with enclosed spaces.
no subject
( She kicks a foot up on a nearby bench by the grave Stefan indicates, rolling out her neck. )
How was it, learning vamps came in two flavors?
no subject
[At least in Stefan's opinion.]
But about the same as hearing there are two kinds of werewolves.
no subject
( Whether it's Buffy demons or Winchester demons. )
no subject
[He smirks as they come to a stop over the grave in question.]
This is the one.

Time for the waiting game. I like you, Hero Hair.
no subject
[It's nice to be liked, at any rate.]
How long does this waiting game usually take?
no subject
All depends. Bring any light reading? I got a vape.
no subject
Didn't bring any reading, unfortunately. I think I was hoping for engaging conversation.

I'm sure they were grateful for your service.
