Then we get terrified, like children waking in the dark, we don't know where we are.

( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )

I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.

( She sighs.

From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.

A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.

Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.

Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.

The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

But he can't just send Bonnie in there on her own.

Isaac.exe has stopped working as he tries to work through this conflict.]

Isaac?

( She crouches down next to him, holding herself up against the wall. What is it? )

[He shakes his head when she says his name, trying to snap himself out of it.]

Sorry. I'm just ... not good with tight spaces.

[To put it mildly.]

How tight? I could... We're going to figure this out. Do you... know how far it goes?

( She places a hand on his upper back, to soothe him, but to also remind him that she's here. They're in this together and not just because they got taken together. )

I can probably fit if I army crawl through. But no, I don't know how far it goes or where it goes.

[Just that it's away from here.]

Can't promise I won't freak out halfway through.

I'll be right there, I promise.

( If anything happens, she'll talk him down. She'll wait for him to crawl far enough that she can, too. )

[Isaac takes a deep breath, steeling his nerves, before lowering himself down and starting to push himself through the corridor. It already is the worst, but he does his best to try and manage his breathing, keep his heart rate under control.

Remember that Bonnie is behind him, and if he freaks out too much he could bring the whole wall down on her too. He feels the scrape of the rock against his back as he pushes his way through, and there's a part of him that wants to shove it off, and get out.

Eventually the panic becomes too much and he does have to stop, holding himself in place until he can regain control again. His claws scrape against the rock as he tries to pull himself together, pinching his eyes closed as his vision goes red.]

( Bonnie sucks in her breath, waiting for room to follow behind. It's narrow for the both of them but at least they can make it together. Isaac stops, so Bonnie stops. He's gotten two Isaac's from the opening with Bonnie right behind but before she can call out hands grab at her ankles and drag her back. )

Isaac!

( She tries to grab onto anything and somehow manages some kind of leverage but when she tries to slip the grip around her ankles, she can't. )

[Something snaps when he hears Bonnie scream.

Yellow eyes glance over his shoulder as he sees Bonnie disappear from behind him and back into the room. Adjusting his position once she's clear he uses his claws to give him leverage to push backwards, sliding back into the room.

Only instead of his normal, enigmatic self, is a spitting mad rage wolf who you should not have chosen to fuck with right then.

There's a snarl as he pushes to his feet, and one hand slams into the guard holding Bonnie, intending to throw him backward, away from the witch on the ground.]

( Yeah, that hand sends him back alright, knocking into the wall and down. but, this hunter seems more trained than others as he lands on his feet, palm flat on the ground. he tries to dodge (17) the next move Isaac attempts before sending an elbow down. (5) )

[He does manage to dodge Isaac's second swipe with his claws (15) but Isaac avoids the elbow easily (10). Then he reaches forward to attempt to grab the man by the chest and slam him back into the wall again (17) so he can growl that rage right in his face.]

( And if Isaac has ever been witness to it, he'll catch the faint smell of urine dripping below as he not only holds the hunter right there but scares the shit out of him. Bonnie keeps her distance, but she also gets to her feet. )

Isaac! ( She indicates with her head. ) The door's open.

( (20) the hunter fights through his fear to knock Isaac's arm away, but the claws do what claws do and he makes his escape through the open door slipping through Isaac's fingers if he tries.

bright side? the door's open now? the smell of blood also saturates the room as the remnants of the wounds from the hunters chest glob together below Isaac. )

[The bright side is yes, the door's open.

The downside is that Isaac still isn't quite in control (8). Golden eyes dart toward the open doorway, the scent of blood heavy in the air and he turns to stalk after it, or more accurately, the man trying to run from him.

He wasn't done with you yet.]

Isaac!

( Against her better judgment, Bonnie propels forward to keep him there (18) to grapple on to his shoulder, to try and right his mind. She whose friend is Tyler Lockwood, but she's also never ended up on the other side of a werewolf. Not like all her friends have been. She'd even use a spell if she could, but, she can't. All she can do is hope her voice does something. )

[Something about the way she says his name manages to snap him back to himself again (20). It's almost as though a switch flips and Isaac remembers where he is, what he's doing.

He stumbles back, away from her and the door, and he looks down at his hands as the claws retract but the blood remains.]

Sorry.

[His voice is shaky as he presses his back against the wall, crouching as he tries to get ahold of himself again.]

Sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

It's okay. It's okay.

( She tries to keep her fear in check, but her pokerface has been on vacation probably since Scotland (8). Despite that, she keeps talking. )

It's the wolf. I know about that. ( Not much, not as much as her friends, but she knows what it can be. ) But, we have to remember most of these hunters, they're -- civilians. They're innocent. They've been... taken over. I know it doesn't make it right. But, bodies aren't easy to cover up.

( ...Without Bela and Elijah, anyway. She thinks then to check her pants. )

( She's finally thinking straight, but she doesn't have it. It's ... )

[He shakes his head, trying to clear the last threads of panic, because it wasn't just the riling of hunter versus wolf. It's a whole sea of things, of anger he's never quite managed to set aside, of fear that will probably follow him for the rest of his life.

But he hasn't had an episode like this in a long time - usually his control is better than this - and it's taking a second for him to recover his calm.

Still the headshake is also the answer to her question.]

No. I think I dropped it when they grabbed us.

( That playful side to Bonnie emerges again, that fear subsiding. )

Maybe Danny has them both. And, we're - free-ish. There's an open door between us and who knows what. Think we can handle it?

[As long as he doesn't have to get in that tunnel again, he'll be fine. Or at least that's what he's telling himself. Then he nods, as he slowly pushes to his feet.]

Yeah. Let's get out of here.

( The walls are definitely stone and the stone is definitely aged. Isaac can smell the ocean as soon as they enter a winding corridor of different passages. How's Isaac's navigation? )

[It's a 10, so about average, but he's going to just keep following the scent of blood and fear and hope it leads to places that are a bit more populated.]

( As the guard's? 1 demonstrates, Isaac meets the dead end the guard literally ran into. He's nursing a pretty gnarly head wound, and as soon as he sees Isaac and Bonnie, he tries to bolt past, 13. )

[Yeah, with a 19, Isaac catches him by the shoulder as he tries to blow past him, and gives it a small squeeze for emphasis.]

Alright, let's try this again. You're going to show us how to get out of here. Or I'm going to tap into my angry side again. It's still very angry.

( Well, apparently whoever he is, he's not very intimidated, or he's good at faking it.

They walk us in and out. Point of being down here is not being about to get out of being down here. Your guess is as good as mine. )

[Isaac is very much less than thrilled with that situation. But they'll figure it out. He shoves the man ahead of him and gestures to the halls they left.]

[And with that he ... still rolls another 10 but this time he's trying to track the scents for another means of escape - gasoline, rubber, engine oil, anything that might indicate there's some kind of vehicle.

But he will put himself definitively between the hunter and Bonnie, just to be on the safe side. He'll heal, she won't.]
