That's the problem with you lot. You think we're the scourge of the Earth and you ignore the darkness in your own hearts. You will die with that hatred. Mark my words.

( He hangs up, seething. )

Tamara Monroe has Hayley, Josh, Davina, a Hale werewolf Hayley and I will speak about later, and Hawthorne. And she planned the attack on Freya. She's been planning this for months. In all their bungling this is her final stand.

[Mia looks up, checks her phone, and shakes her head. "Don't fly. It's faster if you let me drive." Pray for all the pour souls on the highway between Mystic Falls and New Orleans. Then she actually looks at her brother. "What happened?"

Bela looks at the text before turning back to Elijah.]

I have to go. Something's happening down by the river.

[Cami gives him a look at that comment about Derek - she likes Derek, he's sweet - but now is not the time, so she stays on task. "We should go find Freya. Make sure she's okay."]

( Derek Hale and his family have quite the reputation (shut up) and Klaus' (13) deems that reputation be the only thing Klaus knows, not the real story. )

( Rolling down his contact list to Aiden. )

[Bela is going to make her exit to head down to the waterfront. In the meantime, Aiden is going to answer the phone only because it's Klaus and it'll be painful if he doesn't.]

Your husband has been absconded with. Tamara Monroe. I believe you're familiar.

( Because... Aiden is involved, too. )

[Breaks squeal as Aiden jerks to a stop. There's a long silent pause, because he has to ask.]

Davina, too. And Josh, Hawthorne, and Derek Hale. She attacked them - attacked Freya - and intends to end us once and for all. We need each other's help, Aiden.

( Mostly, he needs you to be useful. But, why can't that usefulness be mutual? )

[His hand slams into steering wheel, that werewolf anger flaring hard and fast. He then takes a breath.]

Freya is fine. Unconscious and overtaxed, but breathing. She's with Malia and her lunch date from out of town.

[He hopes that him knowing in advance will lead to him not ripping Harvey's head off.]

Scott's with me. I'm assuming that if you're calling you have a plan? Or at least orders to give?

Setting aside that you left my collapsed sister with a red shirt werewolf and a lunch date, I need you and the True Alpha at Hayley's. Catch her scent and find her.

And Vincent. Also, I think you're using red shirt wrong and Malia's not a werewolf.

[Anyone who thinks Malia Tate is a red shirt is probably going to wind up with Malia's claws in their face. He didn't mention Vincent because Vincent was triaging everyone but let's not get into that right now. He takes a breath because today's apparently all of Aiden's important people get taken day. Then he nods.]

[And then he's going to hang up and glance to Scott.]

( Hung up on and not caring about it, Klaus turns back to his family. )

Aiden and Scott the werewolf snowflake are on their way to Hayley's. Freya is at Rousseau's. She's unconscious.
