( Elijah has not met Derek, but apparently he is more infamous (nat 20, really?) than the desert wolf's offspring, Malia (10). But, to justify this roll, Elijah has a great deal of knowledge and being versed in werewolf dynasties does do him good. Malia, however, was adopted and was only a recent revelation. Recent enough anyway. )

This could be an advantage. Derek was likely a target of opportunity, not intention. Perhaps I can manage a locator spell for him and he can guide us to everyone else.

Then let's buy her some time. Tell your search parties that I need personal objects for locator spells and have them arrange to be brought to the cemetery. From there, we can figure out what comes next.
