Mickey attempts to race behind the hunter that fires (and isn't being accosted) (16), ready to throw an arm around his neck. (13) )

[Mickey does get a hold of his hunter (5), but he manages to break the hold and try to shove Mickey back (20). He doesn't get a ton of distance, but he will attempt to spin around and get a shot at the vampire, but the shot goes wild as Mickey is too close (1).

Aiden and the hunter continue to rumble, with the hunter managing to catch the wolf in the belly with his feet and kick him off (5 vs. 19). He scrambles for his gun to try and recover, but he won't be able to get a shot off this turn.

Mia scrambles onto the roof and begins to contend with the snipers from above. She gets an arrow into the first (12 vs. 4), lodging it in the meat of his support arm, before turning and trying to fire at the second and a bullet scrapes past her, driving her behind one of the supports for cover (3 vs. 8).

Freya and Kol continue to make their approach, and as they move around the struggling guards, she glances to her brother.]

Shall I get the door?

( Mickey's hand goes to choke the hunter that took the wild shot at him (Rude!) (14) and should he succeed, that hunter's going to be lifted right off the ground.

Kol holds out his arm.

"Chivalry was really only my strong suit in the nineteenth century. Be my guest, sister."

He side steps the hunters and their prey. Could go either way. Davina's inside, though, and he doesn't know Mickey from Adam. And Aiden, meh. )

[The Hunter 1's feet kick out as he's lifted, fingers clawing at his throat as he's lifted off the ground (4). He lashes out, trying to catch his attacker, but who knows how successful he'll be (10).

Aiden regroups, and comes at Hunter 2 again, managing to finally get his teeth into his throat (11 vs. 2), and blood spurts everywhere.

Mia comes back at the Hunter 3 (18 vs. 2), lodging his arrow in his upper chest and seeing him drop to the ground. The Hunter 4 breaks off the tip of the arrow and turns to face her to fire with his good arm managing to catch Mia in the shoulder (9 vs. 8).

Freya raises her hand, extending it out in front of her and muttering a spell. The doors blow inward, exposing the first room of hunters: a full squad of eight.]

( Mickey doesn't move (7) and takes a fist to the face, losing grip enough to drop the hunter. He swings his arm out, trying to slam him into the building face first (10) )

Salutations lads. Lasses. We're looking for our friends, family, ex.

( Fangs dropping, he goes for the nearest hunter on the left, using his vampire speed to rush up and shove them sending them flying back (nat 20) )

[Hunter A1 dodges the wall, managing to stay on his feet (18). He swings back around to throw his fist at Mickey's face, not having another weapon to grab at the moment (11).

With Hunter A2 dead, Aiden charges Hunter B2, opposite of Kol, looking to take them down hard and fast (5 vs. 4). The hunter goes down hard, scrambling to get the wolf off him as Aiden snaps at his throat.

Hunter B1 flies through the air when thrown by Kol, his back hitting one of the crates with a sickening snap. He doesn't get back up. As a result, B3 and B4 turn to open fire on Kol and Freya (16, 18). One bullet catches Freya in the arm (10) and she ducks behind her brother.

She reaches one hand out and twists it and B4 goes down with a neck snap.

B5 goes after Aiden, turning to shoot at the werewolf to save his friend, and Aiden lets out a whine in response (19 vs. 14). B6 Takes another shot at Kol, trying to focus the fire on the Original vampire (16). None of them are wooden bullets, however, so they're just annoying.

B7 and B8 are realizing that, and they rush towards one of the nearby crates, going to get better ammo.

A4 and Mia continue to tussle above. Mia manages to spin him around, before rearing back and kicking him over the edge of the roof (12 vs. 1). He lands on the ground below and doesn't get up.]

( A1's fist connects with Mickey's (5) face. Mickey's just about sick of this so he goes for the classic neck snap (8), but he hasn't had experience as a vampire so vampire speed and actions aren't quite congruent, yet.

Kol takes all three shots, bleeding through his purple v-neck now. Being covered in blood is nothing new.

It's B3's turn. Kol attempts to wrench the gun away (14) before playing baseball with B3's head. (16) )

[A1 manages to dodge again (20), and throws another punch (4). Unfortunately, he's distracted by Mia dropping down from above (12 vs. 8), locking her legs around his shoulders and throwing A1 to the ground.

Aiden tries to bite down into B2 again (3 vs. 2), still missing the throat, but managing to graze the skin. B5 tries to take another shot (17 vs. 12), and Aiden lets out another cry of pain, so Freya steps in for another attempted neck snap (18 vs. 3). B5 goes down.

B3 loses his gun (6), but manages to stay ahead of the game, dodging backwards towards some of the crates (20). He shoves his hand into an open one to pull out a stake - not white oak, but might do a little better than bullets - and goes to swing down at the Original vampire (10).

B6 turns to try and fire at Freya (10 vs. 6), and the witch takes a hit to the shoulder with a wince.

B7 and B8 find the wooden bullets and takes two shots at Kol (2, 13).]

... I had that.

( Sure you did, Mickey.

B3 misses Kol by an inch (11) B7 misses, B8 connects and it hurts like a bitch. Weakened momentarily, Kol tries to toss B3 into B7 (4).

Mickey zooms to B6, trying to shove the gun upward in order to get him to shoot himself in his next attempt (4) )

["Sure," she rolls her eyes, before slamming one last slayer punch into A1's face (13 vs. 4) to make sure he stayed down.

Aiden, again, goes for B2 (5 vs. 19), and is still not making any progress. B2 goes for another hit (5 vs. 17), but he also doesn't manage to gain any ground.

B3 stays out of Kol's hands (13), before coming at him again, still wielding the stake (13).

B6 manages to fend off Mickey just barely (4), beginning to wrestle over the gun.

Freya uses the moment to her advantage and turns on the hunters with the wooden bullets, taking out B8 (19 vs. 10). B8 goes down.

B7 goes and takes another shot at Kol (6), but he probably misses on that one.]

( A (20) has Kol dodging B3's stake completely, moving behind him. Kol not only dodges, but tries grabbing B3 and spinning them around so B7 shoots B3 (10)

Mickey moves to simply kick B6 with all his strength (18), screw the gun. )

[Aiden snaps back at B2 (20 vs. 12) and finally gets something vital. B2 goes down.

B3 just manages to twist to stay out of Kol's hands (11), before spinning around and trying to take another shot with the stake (16).

Mickey's kick throws B6 backwards (16), slamming hard to the ground. He still tries to take a shot at him, lifting his gun and aiming (5), but probably not going to hit.

B7 tries to take a shot at Freya (5 vs. 14) which misses. Freya then turns on him, (14 vs. 20), but he manages to duck out of her eyeline to escape the pull of the spell.

Mia comes around the corner and also tries to take a shot at B7 with an arrow but misses (8 vs. 15).]

( Kol is so close, he's staked, which, like the gun shots, hurts. With a (17), Kol tries to break B3's wrist holding on to the stake.

B6 misses Mickey barely (6). Mickey attempts to drop down, pouncing, teeth going for his throat (10). )

[B3 manages to dart away again (20), because he's a wily asshole, and comes back around again with the stake (1), but he swings wild given the close quarters.

Mickey does manage to get B6 (9), but wrenches back so he misses the jugular. He shoves him backwards (20), trying to get some distance between them.

Mia steps up to have Kol's back, aiming an arrow at B3 (5 vs. 4), and manages to catch him in the shoulder.

Freya continues to contend with B7 (13 vs. 6), and he finally goes down.]

( Absolutely fuck off, B3. Kol, fed up, tries to just reach into B3's chest at this point, but he's more frustrated than anything and still in pain from wooden fucking bullets. (10)

Mickey lands on his feet and grabs a crate, throwing it straight at B6 (17). )

[This time, B3 can't move fast enough (5). Kol's hand shoves past his ribcage and removes his heart, and he finally drops to the ground.

The crate also collides with B6 (5), sending him down as well. The room is cleared, so Mia is moving to the next door, ready for what might come next. She hears muffled sounds from the other side and glances back at the rest of the group.]

Do we need a minute?

( Kol tried™️. His wily hunter goes down wishing he had chosen a different path in life. With the room cleared, Kol wipes the blood from his hands on his shirt.

Mikey is raring to go, cracking his knuckles and ready for the next room. But, Kol has questions. He spied Freya shot a few times. Does she need blood? He will freely give his blood. )

Sister?

[Yeah, Freya's not in great shape. She makes her way to her brother, nodding at the unspoken question, before looking to Mia.]

Just one.

[Mia nods, flanking the door, ready to attack just in case the hunters don't want to give them that minute.

Aiden is also taking a second to lick his wounds, but in wolf form he does tend to heal a little bit faster.]

( He doesn't have to be told twice, biting into his wrist and offering it to his sister as Mickey just looks away.

"Still haven't gotten used to that," he says, making eye contact with wolf Aiden.

He - waits.

"Do you..."

Would he dangle his wrist over the wolf's maw? )

[Aiden gives him the most disdainful look a wolf is capable of with his limited face muscles, before going and taking post at the door next to Mia. Mia in turn shakes her head in amusement.

Freya takes a drink from her brother's wrist, giving her body a moment to heal, before turning and nodding to those at the door.]

Go.

[Mia nods, before kicking the door down, revealing the next room with six hunters within. C1 and C2 are sitting at a card table directly to the left of the door. C3, C4 and C5 are poised by some of the boxes, taking inventory, and C6 is at the very back of the room on the phone, and turns to reach for his gun when he sees them.]

( Kol's not taking any chances. Guns being in play means Freya is, again, in danger and he does not need his sister to be cut off from the ancestors, so he races past the card table and the hunters taking inventory (with the assumption that they all have an attack of opportunity)...

Mickey zooms forward toward C1 and C2, flipping the table between them (13) )

C1 and C2 scramble to try and respond, both of them taking a shot at Mickey (7, 18).

C3, C4, and C5 definitely do take shots at Kol (20, 17, 19) as he does a good job at sucking up all of those bullets but Freya has his back, twisting her hand and attempting to snap the neck of C5 (10 vs. 17), but she misses.

C6 unfortunately has Mia coming straight for him, aiming her bow and taking a shot (3 vs. 16). He ducks, the arrow flying over his head before he turns back and tries to shoot her (19 vs. 2), and she winces as the bullet catches her shoulder.]

( Mickey dodges C1 but takes C2's bullet (5) straight on. Grabbing a flying card, he uses the edge to try and slice into C2's neck, getting creative with his kills (14).

(4, 6, 14) mean Kol does take every one of those bullets but his plan works. He's not stopped, just bloodier, and still aiming at C6. He attempts to leap down onto him (8), but judging by the expanse of the room he had to cross, it's possible that hunter has the time to move out of the way. )

[C2 arches backwards, just barely avoiding getting grazed with the card. There's a scratch, blood drawn, but not enough to be fatal. C1 and C2 both rear back to fire another set of shots into the vampire (2, 12).

Aiden comes to Mickey's aid because I forgot him in the last tag, leaping for C1's throat, accounting for his terrible shot at Mickey (19 vs. 17). He manages to recover enough to bring up an arm to protect his jugular by he still goes down and has a werewolf to contend with.

Seeing that Kol has got C6 in his sights, Mia turns, loading an arrow and firing at C3 instead (7 vs. 2). The arrow lodges in his shoulder and for the moment, he's forced to drop his gun.

Freya still has C5 in her sights (11 vs. 4), and his neck snaps before he drops to the ground.

C4 tries to take a shot at Freya in return (18 vs. 13), that grazes her arm as she ducks behind a nearby crate.

C6 is forced to turn his attention to Kol, and ducks to try and dodge the flying Kol (15). He stumbles backwards, before raising a gun to take another shot at the vampire (16).]

( One bullet misses Mickey (7), one hits (5).

C2 has a Mickey problem, then, as he tries to kick him backwards (11).

Kol dodges the bullet, barely using his vampire speed before trying to take the gun away from the hunter and knocking him out with the butt of the gun, but his (natural 1) gets him shot as he tries to confiscate it away. Quick trigger... )
