[The hunters don't fire, but they don't seem all that intimidated either (20). The back door opens, and out slides Monroe herself, turning to face Allison with an almost amused expression.

"And here I thought you were dead."]

( She keeps her guns trained on the two hunters. )

My death was exaggerated.

["So I see." She steps forward, then glances back over her shoulder to where Cooper has a gun poised on the hunter targeting him. "Nice to see you too, Mr. Sullivan."]

Sorry to say the feeling's not mutual, given that you sent my best friend to kill me.

["Apparently Mr. Adler isn't as trustworthy as I initially thought."]

Would help that he was on our side the entire time. How closely did you look into your ranks?

( She's exaggerating 'entire,' but she's trying to make an impression. )

["Closer than you think. I did manage to find one of them after all." Monroe straightens arms crossed in front of her chest. "So where do we go now, Allison? Last I heard you were trying to reason with people. Make them see the light - or what your deluded brain thinks the light is."]

"And what do you think the light is? Following your word like it's God's? Using my family's name to further your own agenda? I'd love to hear it. Because, ten years on and I still don't understand why you do what you do. Why you sacrifice innocent people who think they're doing the right thing."

["Monsters aren't innocent. Monsters either put real innocent people at risk by trying to pretend they're human or prey on innocents for their own power. You really want to stand in Klaus Mikaelson's city, in his defense ,and claim that they're all innocent?"

Monroe tips her head to the side as she takes another step closer.

"C'mon Allison. You're smarter than that." She then she shifts her weight a bit. "Although if I had to choose, I would take Klaus over wafflers like Scott McCall. At least he knows what he is, instead of having delusions that he can be normal."]

"I didn't mean the monsters, Tamara. I mean your loyalists. Hunters and civilians whom you molded into monsters. You and Klaus Mikaelson are more alike than you think. Maybe you don't operate on their fear of you, but you do operate on their paranoia and their fear of the unknown. There are monsters out there. And there was a network of good people there to save those that needed saving.

"You bastardized that," she stamps down her point, drawing one gun to Monroe and splitting the difference of her second between the two hunters outside of the van.

She knows Malia is in the car - or nearby. She's trained on Monroe.

[M1 snaps their focus to Allison when the tenor shifts, but M2 stays focused on Cooper. Cooper straightens, gun in hand, prepared for one of them to flinch.

Malia tenses on the other side of the car, ready to jump to Allison's defense if needed. And Monroe continues to stare Allison down.

"You lost sight of what's important, Allison. When you go to war, you can't lose sight of who the enemy is."

She then raises her eyebrow. "Though if you're so sure that I'm the enemy, why don't you do something about it?"]

( Normally a good shot, she half-heartedly pulls the trigger aiming at Monroe's shoulder (12). She's not fucking around. She will do what she has to. )

[Even if Allison's heart isn't in it, the shot connects landing in Monroe's shoulder (4). M1 goes to answer her fire with a shot of his own, but Malia is there to intervene, coming out claws swinging (9 vs. 13). The hunter dodges back, avoiding Malia's claws but unable to shoot Allison.

M2 and Cooper fire at each other simultaneously (11 vs. 12, 20 vs. 13 respectively), and Coop wins that draw, catching the other hunter in the throat, so the man drops, leaving Monroe exposed from behind.

Monroe looks down at the bullet wound, raising an eyebrow with a smirk. "There she is." And she draws a knife, flinging it outward back at Allison (9).]

( Allison has two guns in hand. With three cars, the small street and the close proximity, she tries to avoid the knife but it slices her side and hits the Mikaelson's car with a clang.

Dropping her guns, she grabs her twin daggers and comes forward slicing downward with each (4) and (16) )

[Malia claws at M1 (13 vs. 1) and catches their throat, their body dropping before they can try and get a second attack. But once that's done, she and Coop both keep their distance, knowing this is Allison's fight and only interfering if needed.

Monroe dodges the first blow (18) but takes the second, the blade slicing down on her arm as she tries to bring it up to block (8). Drawing two knives of her own, she does her own twin blows (18, 3), ready to take this to the death.]

( At (12) and (13) Monroe gets a sliver of her arm but misses with the second knife as hers clangs against Monroe's.

She spears her first knife (11) and spins around trying her second, aiming for her midsection (2). )

[The first one grazes her cheek (10), drawing blood, while she bends away from the second (9), twisting to miss the strike. Then she rears back around for another two blows (18, 9).]

( (6) hits, streaking the both of them in blood, while she bends back and avoids the second (18).

Bending forward, she tries slicing one up along Monroe's arms (10) before attempting to kick her back into her getaway van (12). )

[The first only grazes Monroe's arm (10) but the kick catches her by surprise, winding her slightly as her back hits the door. She tries to recover quickly and strike back at Allison but finds herself swinging wildly (6, 6).]

( (14) and (9) has Allison parrying the two blows. She tries to spin Monroe's arm so she drops one knife (17) and headbutts her to daze her (11) )

[The knife drops to the ground (10), and she tries to twist away to avoid the headbutt, but she's not fast enough (8). She stumbles backwards, taking a breath to try and regain her footing, before charging back in again (11, 14).]

( Allison barely sidesteps the remaining knife but Monroe's second blow lands (10) and she stumbles.

Spinning back, she sends her two knives up at Monroe's sole knife wielding arm (10) and (8) )

[The first blow lands with a small cry of pain (3), digging into her shoulder. She twists away to avoid the second, but she has to switch her knife to her off-hand as she tries to come back in again (19, 7).]

( (Nat 20) avoids swipe one and a reinvigorated (16) keeps Allison poised and serious while Monroe flails.

Jumping forward, she sends her elbow down on Monroe's head, but in the arc, the knife could also strike blood (2) )

[Monroe twists away (9), stumbling backwards. She can feel herself lagging, but she is nothing if not committed. She straightens and charges in one more time (9, 12), determined to land a blow if she can.

She will not concede. If Allison wants her gone, she'll have to take her off the board permanently.]

( Allison's (15) and (nat 20) dodge both blows and Allison is getting that there is only one way for this to end. )

( She slices forward with her left hand (13) and brings her right back as she stabs downward toward her chest (8). )

[She dodges the first blow (14), but it's the final one that she can't avoid (1). The knife plunges down, sinks into flesh and Monroe flashes her a bloody smile as she stumbles back.

"Don't be. It gave me everything." She drops to her knees one hand supporting her on the ground. "And I'll still have the last laugh."

With that, she drops to the ground, and eventually goes still.]
