[There's a moment after she receives William's text that she was going to turn and tell Derek about his new hot pink phone that William claims they can't destroy, but before she can get the words out the phone in her hands lights up with a phone call and Stiles' name.

It rings once, twice, and then it's gone, but the missed call, in the way that notifs sometimes do, resurrects old notifications from when her phone was a swamp rock, some missed calls and one voicemail. She listens to it, not knowing what really to do with any of this, before getting out of the group text and sending one to him directly.]

What do you want from me, Stiles?

[Maybe it's a little harsh to ask, but she needs to know. She's not good at reading between the lines or sorting through mixed signals. She wants to know if she's reading this right, because if she's not she needs to let it go.]
