[Is she shouting because she's freaking out or is she shouting because of the magic, maybe a little of both.
Josie just looks confused, and she blinks back at Alice. "What are you shouting about? She's right there." Josie gestures in the direction of Bonnie. So Josie can clearly see her and presumably Bonnie can see herself.]
OH MY GOD. I SWEAR I'M NOT BEING AN ASS. I JUST LITERALLY CAN'T SEE YOU RIGHT NOW.
["Can you please stop shouting?" Josie asks, and Alice shakes her head.]
NO, I CAN'T. I'M NOT EVEN TRYING TO SHOUT.
["Okay, then let's just ... wait and see if you go back to normal." Josie sighs, before turning back to Bonnie. "Everyone else is gone. I don't know where they went."]
It's the magic. It overwhelmed Danny. ( And them, if they're honest. They weren't a crack team, just one that cared a lot. Just because you have people to channel, doesn't mean the channeling won't zap everyone away. ) Okay. Um. Let me...
( She hurries over to her back by the door and drops down, fumbling through it. Alice can see the purse, but not Bonnie, and then she sees the screen of the cell phone Bonnie pulls out come to life. She thinks for a second before dialing Caroline.)
[Alice opens up her mouth to respond and Josie shakes her head.]
No. Don't. Not until we figure out how to get you to stop shouting.
[A beat.]
Sorry.
[Alice gives a half shrug of acknowledgement while Caroline's phone rings once and goes right to voicemail. Is she ignoring her phone for boyfriend time? Is her phone dead and there's been some kind of Mystic Falls disaster? Is the magic interfereing?
[Josie pauses, looking over the three of them, with a look on her face that says she doesn't want to say it, but at the same time, it's not like she can just reassure herself by reaching for her connection with Lizzie anymore.
Looking at Bonnie, she knows she can't actually float that maybe they might not be there to be found, so she does the next best possible thing. They don't need the Salvatore School tracking class, when there's a former Salvatore student right here.]
Do we have something of any of theirs? I stole this sweatshirt from Lizzie.
[She starts to pull it off over her head, leaving her in a t-shirt in the cool New York fall air. Then she unclasps her necklace.]
And Hope gave me this necklace. It has her magic in it.
( Okay. Bonnie can work with that. She fishes in her bag for something of Isaac's, a scarf of his she holds out. To Alice, it looks like the scarf rises alone and presents itself. It must be wild from her perspective. )
[There's an oh face, and then she winces. Despite her NYU education and the fact that her father married very, very far up, she's not exactly flush with cash. She'll take that phone offer back now. Then her face lights up with another idea and she holds up a finger as though to say "brb." Then she leaves the roof and heads downstairs.
Josie moves over to grab Lizzie's bag and starts sorting through it, before realizing ...]
I don't know enough about Danny to know what's his beyond not Lizzie's. Do you?
( Or, she hopes she does. (14) proves not only does she know him but sticking together has her recognizing his sunglasses as she holds them up to Josie. )
These are his. If I remember correctly, they used to be his sister's. It could be enough.
[Josie nods, before adding it to the pile of accumulated items of people they're missing. She folds her legs under herself, waiting for Alice to return before glancing back to Bonnie.]
Maybe something that happened with the spell, because you and I were holding hands. Whatever happened to me doesn't effect you. I'm still here, just -- invisible? Is that what we're deciding on?
( And if they decide that, what else are they deciding on? )
[Josie nods before spreading out the map and closing her eyes to focus. Locator spells are something she's been performing forever, but between the situation and the amount of magic floating through the city, it's not going well (6).]
( Josie, do you want the good news or the bad news first?
According to the locator spell, Lizzie and Isaac are still right where you are, a bright pink light indicating just that, but, Hope and Danny, dark red and blue seem to be dancing around each other above that light, and then traveling around he city with no clear path, just constantly in movement until they come back together and intertwine, pulsating, again, above that bring pink light.
And then the scene dissolves into sparkles and then nothing. )
We are going to focus on that. I became visible again and Alice stopped only shouting, so we have to believe they'll come back to us.
( She doesn't altogether know what else to do. But, optimism seems like a good avenue right now. She will be Caroline Forbes. Even if she feels slightly out of her depth. )
[It takes her a second, but Josie snaps her fingers. "Oh! Don't freak out, but I have an idea."
She briefly chants, her eyes roll back, and she drops to the side on the roof, having astral projected herself into the nearest pocket world that would take her (18) - probably shooting for her sister first.
And just as she goes unconscious a phone in her bag starts to ring. Alice frowns, going to sort through the bags until she finds the ringing phone.]
Uh - if she's okay, I'm gonna -
[And she jerks her thumb back over her shoulder as she goes to answer the phone.]

( She didn't go anywhere. Did she? )
You can't see me? But you can hear me? It's Bonnie, Alice.
( Sorry, she knows you're not an idiot. But. She's right here. )
Do you see Lizzie or Isaac or Danny and Hope?

The world may never know.]

Caroline isn't picking up, or my signal isn't getting past the magic.
( She gets back up. )
Finding anyone in the Salvatore tracking class would probably be a longshot since their school year starts next week.
( Does she have other plans? Ideas? )
First, we find everyone and then...
( She doesn't know. )

It's Isaac's.

Okay. So we need something for Danny, and a map of some kind.
[Alice's brow furrows before reaching into her pocket and holding up her phone. Can you Google Maps a locator spell?]
no subject
( That's for Josie because Lizzie is her sister. Bonnie comes to Alice to take the phone in hand. )
Full disclosure, this might... destroy your phone.

[Which is unfortunate for Alice. Josie's resting pouty face is in full force as she runs her hands over the various objects in front of her.]
They're probably okay, right?
no subject
( Dead right there. She decides alone. )
One thing at a time.
no subject
It's mostly the surrounding bourough, but they couldn't have gone that far, right?
[Then she points to herself brightly.]
Look at that! No longer shouting. And I can see Bonnie again!
no subject
Which means the effects are all temporary. Like our disappearing friends.
( Again, she hopes. )
Let's see what comes up. Josie?

no subject
( Wherever here happens to be. )
If they weren't, it would've resulted in nothing. And that pink light, it was bright. Wherever everybody is, they're alive.

[Alice rocks back and forth on her heels, totally out of her depth here. Give her something to punch any day.]
Can we take the lights and turn them back into people again?
