I was thinking about our options, and I quite though that astral projection would be under the fairest terms. It lacks the pressure of the in person reveal and gives her the space to make her own decision. How do you feel about that?

[She nods slowly.]

That's fair enough for the initial conversation. But if we move past that, I will need a blood sample.

[So that will have to be in person.]

[But eventually is not now, and they have time to figure that out.]

[She takes a breath as she shifts to face him more, looking him in the eye.]

I know we're on a clock here. Eventually we're going to hit a cut off point. I'm okay with putting a plan for that in place.

[A pause.]

I know I'm trying to have it all here, but ... alive with no magic is better than dead. I don't want to be dead.

The problem of being mortal is there being a ticking clock.

[She weighs her options.]

Is there a point of no return for what vampire blood can fix? Like if I start losing mobility, does that become the line where we can't wait anymore?

Without my family's magic, yes. Vampirism could send your disease into overdrive if it progresses too far. It helps cancer along, I assume it will only push your Huntington's.

( Which, yes, does put a big ticking clock. Or at least it points it out for them. )

Alright then. Let's talk to Hope and assess where we're at from there.

[She wants to still be able to use her body when the time comes. The ticking clock is ticking a little bit faster.]

Maybe we can find another witch with similar abilities to mine to finish the project if we run out of time.
