[Malia does not look particularly happy at the turn of events, but they knew they were in this when they left New Orleans. She's never really been a hand-holding girl, but she will let him take hers for the moment.

They better get out the other side.

David looks down at the message and doesn't debate the point:]

Where/when would they like to meet to head out?

( He sets his phone aside. )

We have an hour.

Then we should pack.

[She eyes Malia's daisy dukes.]

Do you have anything for cold?

[The other woman glances down and groans. "I'll go shopping. I'll be back in time." She starts to head towards the door and Lydia lifts her head.]

Malia, did you tell Peter?

["I did. He was less than pleased."

Lydia nods, waiting until she disappears out the door before sighing.]

Well maybe we'll have that in our favor too.

[illtempered]

( Malia's "boyfriend" also follows. )

Peter would follow Malia to Siberia just to drag her back.

And if he happens to kill a few evil witches on the way, all the better for us. He might even make sure Parrish gets back safe.

[Malia seems to be the only person Peter has close-to-human reactions for so who knows what might happen.]

Unfortunately, we can't one hundred percent count on him because the only person who can predict Peter Hale is Peter Hale.

Then we rely on us.

[Lydia smirks.]

She claims he's not her boyfriend but he's the only person she's sleeping with and she flew him out to New Orleans because she missed him.

[So he's basically her boyfriend, Malia is just Malia.]

Parrish is being very patient.

( He sees that, too, but, he also sees what's brewing between the lawyer and his best friend. )

[She really does. She couldn't imagine her choices if she were doing this alone.]
