[Jaqueline finally glances up from her screen and closes the laptop with a nod. "You are now Tom Baker, production assistant."]

Great. What does a production assistant do exactly?

Do we deploy him right away, or send him to her after you make contact?

Probably the sooner the better. The more I look like a fixture the less suspicious it will be.

[Or at least that's his opinion on it. Jaqueline looks like she doesn't know what to do with it when she says. "I agree. The sooner he can become a familiar face, the better."

Then she pauses.

"Though do we know if she knows what her potential new meat suits look like?"]

Blood connects the target of the spell and who's brought back. Unless she had a target in mind, I don't think she knows who's coming after her. Unless the original spell is more concentrated and she -- gets visions or, maybe a feeling the closer he gets. But, I can't see it that far-reaching.

[He slings his bag over his shoulder - not that he has many belongings at this point - before glancing to the rest.]

Rusty has the option of also being a PA or something else on set, while on the plane, should he want to be closer on the ground.

Once the plane touches down, everyone separates. The Malreaux siblings meet their contact, playing the part of the envoy, while Ezra magically hotwires a car for him, Lucas, and Rusty. The three of them easily shoplift hats from the airport. It's all very slick.

Ezra drives faster than the town car that leisurely takes the Malreaux to the studio. They're still on the highway by the time Ezra pulls his stolen car around the back of the studio by crew and craft services parking. He pulls the car into park. )

[Rusty will take that option, being dubbed his usual fall back of "Dave," but adjusts his face because while Hernandez may not care about the vessels she's created for herself, she will recognize Rusty. So he puts a disguise in place and makes his way onto the set, spreading out and getting into place.

One way or another, Hernandez dies soon. And he's one step closer to finally being free.

Lucas also goes to keep himself busy, doing as he's told, but more actively looking for a sign of his quarry (5), though it's not going well because there are a lot of faces and he wasn't super familiar with her work before he died.]

( That five keeps him mostly engaged with the tasks on hand, instead of focusing on where Hernandez is. He does note that they're not shooting at he moment, nor rehearsing, so she probably won't be on set. He can make a listen check or an investigation check. )

[It's a lot of noise, but he's doing his best to try and investigate things. He's doing an average okay job (10). Who knows if his average, okay job is going to work though.]

( it is a lot of noise with the usual bustle of set. the AD is yelling something across the headset, a golf cart zooms by lucas. a rack of clothes is wheeled by in the direction of the trailers. )

[Yeah, you know what, let's follow the costumes. She probably has a trailer, right? And that trailer is labeled? Let's see if he can find something he can pop into for some privacy.]

( the clothes lead him past the trailers, but keep moving. there are five trailers, two on his left and three on his right as well as a small office with steps leading up at the back. make a stealth check )

[This part he's actually good at (16). He molds himself to the shadows, doing his best to blend in with the rest of the workers and keep himself from being noticed by looking out of the ordinary.]

( unfortunately, there's a stressed personal assistant with eyes everywhere (19) who steps in front of him with a clipboard, and balancing an iPad ontop.

"I don't recognize you," he says, clocking his laniard. )

[Lucas flashes him a small smile, before holding up the lanyard so they can take a better look.]

Tom Baker. I'm new, but I'm on the list.

[It's probably the fact that it's true that carries most of the lie (19). This is the part that he is good at, hunters are always better when they're pretending to be someone else.]

( the personal assistant is stressed but believing him, especially as he double checks the name on the crew sheet (15)

"You're on here," he says, triple checking the name again. "You were brought in because Sandra went into double OT," he says, making a note underneath on the iPad on the clipboard. "Thank you, Colleen. Did Colleen assign you to talent?" )

[Now he's going to just wing it and try and seize the opportunity while he has it:]

Yeah, she wanted me to see if Ms. Sanchez needed anything.

[That like has a balder face, but he still manages to pull it off well (16).]

( (7) her personal assistant studies him, but his ease with lying does make it a credible ask. he goes blank for a second, as if he's supposed to be processing this.

[He so has not. But he has heard some things about celebrities, so he assumes there's some crazy demands somewhere (14).]

Yeah, but I haven't gotten read in on her particular needs yet. Is there anything in her contract I should be worried about?

( shuffling the iPad under her arm, this is what he was actually waiting for. he has such a long list on his plate! he rips a page and holds it out. )

Her trailer is the last one on the right, but she's in with the writers right now. Do me a favor and double - triple check her rider for me. She wants ramen, so I'll see you in - I don't even know - an hour? But, message me if you have any questions.

[He does give it a cursory glance as he walks towards the door, to see if there's anything he can use, but ideally he wants to just post himself in her trailer and wait for her to finish the day. He reaches for his phone to send off a text.]

Found the trailer. When's the envoy showing up?

( anything he can use? there are steps up to the door. there's a sign on the door that says Rosalyn Sanchez. it's a very open concept parking lot.

he could fit under the trailer, and he could climb ontop pretty easily with his skills. but why would he?

Ezra pivots over quickly to the twins, Rusty, Sierra, David, because that's the established conversation.
