Caster 3 manages to deftly dodge Tyler's blow (nat 20), and flings up her wrist to send him backwards in to a very sharp piece of broken wood (also ... nat 20).
Caster 1 is still tangling with Dolls (7 vs. 4) and Dolls tries to punch back, but seems briefly dazed (11 vs. 12)
Leader draws up her knife again, intending to send it flying again (11).]
( Tyler gets blown back (7), the sharp piece of wood impaling him. It sticks straight through him and pushes blood up into his throat, definitely down for count.
"Stay down," Wynonna says, again (9) for intimidation.
Alys beats her to it, sending the knife at Leader, flipping it around (18) )
[Leader is not able to get out of the way of the knife fast enough, and it sinks into her shoulder (17). Dolls gets another hit off on his witch (17 vs. 6) and there's the bang! of a gunshot as the witch drops to the ground - still alive but very much bleeding.
Wynonna's witch does as she's told, holding up her hands in defeat.
"Ty!"
Liv charges for the witch contending with Tyler and snaps her neck (nat 20 vs. 14), leaving her to drop to the ground. Waverly is right on her heels, and she drops down next to him, eyeing over the wound.]
Okay. Okay, I can fix this. On my signal, pull it out.
[Liv's scattered, trying to keep it together, but even that rings wrong in her mind. "But they tell you not to - "]
Trust me. I know you don't know me but trust me. I'm not going to let him die.
[Liv still seems uncertain, and if Waverly hadn't healed her earlier she might not have listened. But for now, without vampire blood, it's the only thing they can do. So she nods, moving to brace Tyler behind his shoulders while Waverly braces his sides.
To Tyler:]
I'm sorry, this is going to suck. On three. One, two!
[And the two of them will haul him off, and Waverly will focus every bit of angel power she has left to try and seal things up quickly so that Tyler doesn't lose too much blood.]
( He tries grabbing at it himself, but he's woozy, in pain, and seeing stars. He lets our a cry of pain as she removes it and he passes out as blood pours out from his wound, being dragged away. His jacket is removed and Waverly gets her hands over it.
Alys steps over one of the witch bodies, holds her hand out and retrieves the knife as it flies back to her hand.
"I don't know what you wanted with Tyler Lockwood of Olivia Parker, but, you failed."
She melts the knife in her hand and drops the remnants onto the ground.
"I'm sorry for this," she prefaces before her eyes go white. "CAECUS." she says. (a 13) to blind Elvira, her eyes burning out if it succeeds.
Wynonna just watches, blinking.
"Jesus," she says, keeping the gun trained on her witch. )
[Liv let's Tyler collapse into her, gently running her fingers through his hair, ignoring the chaos around her. When Waverly removes her hands, the skin is healed, and she slumps in relief.]
Okay. He should be okay.
[But that was a big heal so she's probably not going to be very useful past that. Hopefully no one else will be grievously injured before this is over. Except for the bad guys.
Leader screams, trying to resist the spell (12), but she's not strong enough to get past Alys' age and prowess and her eyes burn out almost as though she's been smote by an angel.]
[Waverly nods as the witches begin to take their leave, leaving their dead behind.]
Yeah. I mean, I don't got much left in the tank so everyone else is going to have to heal the old fashioned way. And I can't do much for the blood loss so you'll probably want some juice and some cookies once you get out of here, but you'll be okay.
[Liv squeezes Tyler's hand in return and then looks up at Waverly and says something that Liv doesn't say all that often: "Thank you." There are two people that Liv Parker absolutely can't live without and Tyler is one of them. She doesn't want to think about what would have happened if Waverly hadn't intervened.
( He was freaking impaled. But. Okay. His voice comes back to him, too, as he remembers he has to breathe and then tries sitting up, echoing Liv's sentiments. )
["We should get out of here." Dolls glances around, seeing the flames from the fire balls Liv was throwing below starting to grow. "I don't think this place is going to last much longer."
Liv nods slowly starting to help Tyler to his feet before her eyes go wide. "Shit, the safe. Can you -?"
Waverly nods and shifts to take Tyler's weight so that Liv can run downstairs and get into the arcane safe.]
( Wynonna helps on Tyler's other side as Alys accompanies Liv downstairs, reinforcing a step that wants to break with magic. She stands close, if Liv needs more fire power as the rest move on slightly shaky ground out the entrance. )
[Liv moves into what was formerly the office and crouches down on the floor, raising her hand over where the safe sits. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves before moving through the combination.]
[Liv does as well (18), moving towards the car so that she can place her spoils into it. Once everything is secured, she turns back to the group and raises an eyebrow.]
May I interest all of you in a drink back at the Armory? So we can have that conversation I mentioned earlier?
