Cami mentioned something about her and Klaus having plans to have dinner with Stefan Salvatore.

[So it may not be a completely unknown vampire. Freya would know Stefan, but they're hearing all of this through Eva so hard to say one way or another.]

Maybe it was him or maybe his brother followed him from Mississippi.

["You know, of all the friends I've made, I haven't had the pleasure of knowing either of the Salvatores." Sophie will also join them, and will stick with wine.

Davina is also having wine, so it's really just the boys with beer.]

( "So, I didn't meet-meet them, but Lydia said they were enigmatic. We were more focused on the Winchesters," whom he sees as real allies now, but still keeps one eye on. )

I know of a lot of people and I do know of them, but we always seem to just miss each other. I came to Chicago after Stefan had absconded, I left New York just before Damon arrived. And I've never been to Mystic Falls.

[She's heard it's bad for vampires, generally speaking. A whole church full of them got stuck in a tomb for a century and a half. No thank you.

Davina shrugs. "Stefan came to town once to try and help Klaus. I didn't meet him then but I was a little busy breaking Klaus' sireline."]

( The narration wants it known, he was right there. It's probably easy to forget. Also, nobody in this room would know that. Sophie would probably like both brothers for various reasons. )

I heard a rumor Klaus' sireline was jail broken, but I thought it was all talk.

Nope. That was me.

[Davina takes another sip of her wine.]

If someone got lucky enough to take him out, everyone turned by his bloodline would be just fine. But I try not to advocate for it anymore, as it would make Cami very sad.

[And Klaus is better than he used to be.]

I like Cami! ( He needs better commentary, right? ) I know Klaus' family has a reputation, but they're all pretty nice when you're staying with them.

"He's cute," Eliot says to Davina, taking a sip. )

[It's clearly one of the reasons why she likes him. Her relationship with the Mikaelsons is a lot more complicated, but they're trying to be better by each other on both sides.]

They actually are a lot better than they used to be. Hope really changed a lot for them.

Sometimes, kids make a difference. Sometimes, the bad guys just have kids. Good they fall in the latter camp.

You singlehandedly ended an Original's sireline?

Not singlehandedly. There was a whole coven, but I was the main caster. And I didn't end it, I just ... disconnected him from it.

[Every vampire turned from Klaus' bloodline is still alive, or we wouldn't have half the vampire characters in this PSL. At least in theory.]

Probably one of the pieces of magic I'm more proud of. That and releasing the ancestors.

[whumpawhumpa]

Doesn't your power come from your ancestors? ( To Sophie. ) She's a Harvest Girl, right?

[regentem]

[Sophie nods, but Davina can speak for herself and she will.]

I'm the last Harvest girl.

[For many reasons, but the biggest one is that it's no longer needed. Vincent nods. "The original way we were drawing on our ancestors, it was like we were a parasite on their spirits. We were anchors on them, and they were never able to find peace."]

But fortunately there was a way to fix it.

[There's a small hesitation because she and Scott haven't really covered this yet.]

One of the times I died, they consecrated me to the ancestors in an attempt to bring me back. It didn't work, not that time anyway, but with Vincent on the outside and me on the inside, we were able to dismantle the spell holding them there and set all of those witches free. We still practice ancestral magic, but it's much ... healthier now.

[whumpawhumpa]

( Scott frowns. One of the times she's died? She's died? He thought Derek had died. Almost lost Allison. And then thought he'd also lost Allison because of what everyone needed to believe.

But Davina has died.

He takes her hand if he can, supporting her. )

Death's not the end in our line of work.

[She gives Scott's hand a squeeze in return. They can talk about it later, after their friends are gone. She's not ashamed of it, but it's still hard to talk about.]

No, it's not. In some ways, it can be a beginning.
