[She pauses as she tries to figure out how to phrase it.]
What I remember was a timeline that was diverted because of something that happened when I was a baby. But also I was here because I got time traveled. So ...
[Another pause.]
I take it back, maybe my memory does feel a little fractured.
Then we were time traveled back to 2019 to ... I don't know. Remind my dad what he was dying for, I guess? There was this whole side quest I got sent on where I met the Devil trying to save my dad's soul with Uncle Constantine.
[Anyway. Not important.]
Dad and his superhero partners were able to change things for a better future. That first version of me ceased to exist and the baby me who had already been born became new Mia who grew up as a socialite and was way less serious, until I got called as a Slayer, and suddenly I remember all of that first timeline.
[Aiden blinks briefly, before glancing over at his husband. "You know, as horrible and traumatic as ours are, it's way less confusing."]
Yeah, a lot less, but I think I follow - except for the Devil stuff. So, you were one Mia. And then that Mia became this Mia - until both Mia's converged. Because you're a slayer now.
Slayers get all of these memories and stuff from the Slayers that came before them. I think that cracked whatever lock was on my memories of the previous timeline.
[Or something. Mia's life is complicated.]
My friend in Star City had a similar experience? He remembered the old timeline. And now there's you guys, but under completely different circumstances.
[It could be a lot of reasons. But if the people waking up are starting to create more and more cracks, she can't help but wonder how long it will take to spread to people like her father.
Oliver can't remember Crisis - or at least that's what Barry believes.]
Did the witch you were working with say anything about being able to patch the cracks back up again?
I feel like there has to be a reason, but I can't tell if it's because I have good reason for it or I've just inherited my father's paranoia.
[Both completely viable options, but hard to really say which one is true. Both could also be true. She could be right and she could also be paranoid.]
It really could just be a side effect of having changes to my memory when my memory had already been altered. And there are powerful beings out there that can mess with people for different reasons.

( Forgive him, because SciFi rules usually mean the universe collapses then? )

Mia takes a deep breath as she tries to think about how best to explain.]
Okay, so the first timeline - my dad dies during this huge crisis. I grew up in hiding, separate from my brother. I became a black market middleman, did some vigilante stuff, my ex-fiancé was a crime lord, everything sucked.
Then we were time traveled back to 2019 to ... I don't know. Remind my dad what he was dying for, I guess? There was this whole side quest I got sent on where I met the Devil trying to save my dad's soul with Uncle Constantine.

( Worse than rival werewolf, he decides. )
The Devil?

( He doesn't know if he'd want to unknow everything. Yeah, it's pretty gruesome and confusing at times, but he feels whole in a way. )

Maybe I should pay her a visit before I head back to Star City.
[Better to be safe than sorry.
"Let us know when you want to go and we'll see if we can arrange a meeting," Aiden nods. "Do you think it would be bad if things keep cracking?"
Mia hesitates because it's hard to say.]
I don't know. There's a lot of tendrils when it comes to Crisis that I don't really understand. But better to be safe than sorry?

( Though something tells him Mia has the ingenuity to do it himself.
Josh waits for Mia's response. )
We can keep it between us. And Davina and Freya. And you.
