[Lydia glances over with a smirk.]

Do we have to worry about him making faces at our new house?

Cole is just expressive. There's a reason he's not in the field.

( No p-p-poker face. He needs to recognize what his job is. He's not tactical - except when it comes to entrances and exits. He's good on layout, just don't try and hand him a gun or a crossbow. Allison tried.

From the back, a scarf-wearing gen-z-er comes in, Sid, as Damon is at the front door finally unlocking it for the day. Sid's a big surprised there are people inside and the cook is already at work, but, sure, whatever. He's just paid to be here. )

I think Cole is tired, this is the most we've worked him in a while. He's coordinating three different areas right now. He will be coming in this week, though. Do you need him to get anything in Boston?

[She takes a breath as she considers.]

Which do you think would be more expensive? Transporting a large portion of my wardrobe here or buying a new wardrobe?

One doubles your wardrobe, the other bides Cole's time. It might be equal.

( Less work if she enlists Cole, but it's up to her. Damon's explaining whose tabs have been closed. Speaking of, Lydia's and her companion's brunch has been covered. And Damon is out of there! )

[She waits like she's considering, and as soon as she's one hundred percent sure Damon's gone ...]

Because I might have a date.

( We're waiting and then - oh. Okay. Really. )

( If anyone would, Lydia would. Not that Jackson didn't suddenly couple up, too. She's happy for them. )

A date worthy of a new outfit?

( Because, shopping! )

Maybe. I told him I'd think about it.

[She might make him work for the new outfit.]

I don't want him to think I'm too impressed.

[This is Damon Salvatore. Even reformed, he's still a little cocky.]

( Not much phases Lydia Martin and she's always gone for what she wants. But, she doesn't make it easy for anyone. Not that she should. Allison has always fallen easier. With Scott, it just was. And then it was all too complicated and too much had happened.

It must be nice to have something new. )

He's definitely the most charming guy I've come across in a while.

[She will give him that. But he also has a history, and she's still feeling that part of him out.]

We'll see. But what about you? Anyone with potential?

I - don't remember a time when I've thought about anyone's potential. I guess if we're staying ( She hedges. ) What do you think of Sam Winchester?

He's very tall.

[And that is not a bad thing.]

Also, if you were going to pick a Winchester, he's certainly less volatile.

I'm not picking a Winchester. But, if there were potential, there would be potential in Sam. Maybe. We had a moment at graduation. I think I gave a little more va va voom than he was expecting. You know my red - sort of sheer dress?

I do. That's a good dress.

[She smirks a bit as she rests her chin in her hand.]

Maybe you should take him for a test run. See how he handles.

[She knows Allison is usually more reserved than that, but she likes to encourage her when she feels there's an opportunity.]

It hasn't been too long but it's always good to - drive stick.

[She smiles, because she does appreciate it when Allison plays along.]

If you think it would be fun, then I say go for it. Because contrary to popular belief, you are allowed to have fun, Allison.

I know what fun is, Lydia. I just... inherited a multi-million dollar hunting outfit. Say I do want to take him for a spin, where exactly am I supposed to? His brother's car?

( Because we're sharing a room, Lydia. )

It is a great car, as questionable as Dean's taste is in everything else.

[But Sam is tall, and that would likely be uncomfortable.]

And I didn't mean right this second. But at some point, since it seems like we're going to be sticking around for a while. And he probably has a place to sleep too.

I thought I won't be sleeping.

( You're a bad influence, Lydia. Or a great one? )

[She smirks.]

( And they go on their merry way...

But, later on that night, she returns to the Mystic Grill to order her and Lydia carry out because, there really is just one place to eat in this town, and who happens to be in one of the booths? )

Sam?

[Turns at the sound of his name. He's out because sitting around the house with Cas as he stresses like a nervous parent getting Jack ready for his post-high school trip is not as fun as it sounds.

He left that to Dean and headed to the Grille to do some work where the people are.

He's not expecting to see Allison. Maybe he should have, but he wasn't.]

( Join? But, also hop on. You know. Totally casual implied questions. )

[It takes him a second to connect the dots before nodding, and pulling some of his stuff away from the opposite side of the table.]

Yeah. Yeah, of course. Make yourself comfortable.

( She'll shrug out of her leather jacket and slide on in. )

Thanks. Working on anything big?

[He shakes his head.]

A friend asked for help on some research for a hunt. I'm just keeping busy.

[He leans back in his seat after resettling the rest of his stuff.]
