( Bonnie, bag in hand at her side, holds the door open this time. She sighs, looking wistfully off at Danny, sullen, in the backseat. )

I wish I could make it all better, like I could undo it all, or, go back and prevent it altogether. Too many of us have no parents. No living family.

( She sighs.

From Danny's seat if or when he looks back, Bonnie and Isaac continue their discussion. Scott texts Isaac, so he pulls his phone out, eyes down quickly.

A couple approaches from the south, arm in arm. The guy in glasses leans in whispering something that makes the girl laugh. As they separate to move around Bonnie, everything happens quickly. The brunette girl brandishes a stun gun landing a blow to Isaac's side. Out of the leather jacket, the man reveals what looks to be something dark colored, with a flat bottom. He drops it. From the car, he can see a spell attempted, Bonnie's lips moving but nothing happening. She tries struggling, but the woman whacks her on the back of the back sending her down. The man quickly pulls out a pair of iron handcuffs the woman waves away, not now, and as fast as it happens, a bright yellow taxi pulls up.

Three others, including one dressed as a taxi-driver throw Bonnie and Isaac into the trunk. When everyone is inside the car, the driver puts down a black device on the top of the cab quickly, puts on a pair of leather gloves, climbs inside the cab and speeds off.

Bonnie's bag, and the contents within including her phone lie on the sidewalk next to Isaac's dropped phone.

The driver in Danny's car starts the ignition, this is probably protocol. )

[He holds up his hands and keeps them still, not wanting to seem like he's casting a spell.]

Also Potter is a hero. If you're trying to insult me, you're not doing well.

[He's trying to keep things calm as he does not want to get shot today, but this guy does not seem to know who Elijah is or he might have played it cooler.]

Elijah hasn't moved, yet, but, looking around (19) tells him there is someone in the room with flannel Romeo.

"You're not alone, are you?" The man wavers. "You should come out now, you regret any shot you attempt to fire." (15) for itimidation. Her (7) brings her out of the bathroom, holding her gun up. A thousand years must give Elijah the verbal one-up!

"Now, my associates here have some questions they'd like answered." )

[Danny smirks, because it's cool to have a super powerful vampire on your side when they're not trying to make you do terrible shit.

Also he's a teenage boy, don't judge him.]

( The woman and man exchange looks. The guy points his gun upward, he smiles, tries, convincingly, (8) "We can do this without your mumbo jumbo magic or your fangs or whatever you freaks are." Really personable, this one. )

[Yeah, Danny picks that up (13). He tips his head to the side.]

Can we? Because you're not exactly the most trustworthy, mate. Your friends broke into some innocent teenage girls hotel room and kidnapped my friends. So right now, I think the burden of proof is on you.

I haven't cast anything yet.

[Which he doesn't have to lie about because he hasn't.]

( There's recognition in his eyes. So, it's them.

"You're why we woke up in that room. Why I can't remember why my shoulder needed to be reset. We have a score to settle then. Two guns against three. I believe in fire power." )

[Danny's wrists flip with a murmur of spell quickly looking to yank their guns out of their hands (17). If he succeeds, the guns fly past their heads and land on the floor behind them.]

Because now it looks like you have no guns.

[jockwitch]

( They're not able to keep a hold of their guns, the sheer force of magic dropping them (4).

Lizzie stands, smugly. The hunter exchanges another look. )

... What's a solstice.

[They really did find the bottom of the barrel.]

[jockwitch]

( "You're him?" The brightest of bulbs he's not.

"Whomever he may be is not to be trifled with. Is that why your orders were to locate him? His formidability?" Elijah tries.

[Damnit. Danny rubs his eyes as he lifts his hands again. Just in case they're playing dumb.]

[And once the spell settles:]

Why are you here?

( Well, they couldn't stop that spell if they tried and flannel speaks first.

"We go where we're ordered." )

And what were your orders?

[Because the spell only gets them so far.]

[jockwitch]

( Yes, the more precise the question, the better the answer.

"Check in under these names, find the witches. Kill anyone else." )

What do they want with the witches?

[Since they weren't specified under the "kill" category.]

[jockwitch]

( "Don't know. Really don't care. Job's a job. Find the witches. Take the witches."

So, that's luckily an actual answer? )

But, why. No. ( He opens his mouth and then closes it. She stops herself. ) Where are you taking us? If you ever managed to actually take us.

( "Our outfit in town." )

What's the address?

[Sometimes these piecemeal questions are annoying but at least they're honest.]

( "It's in my phone." You thought he'd know the address? This pissant, Danny? )

[Rolls his eyes because really. Really. He holds out a hand, because asking nicely has got to work at least once.]

[And if he doesn't he'll use magic to take it.]

[jockwitch]

( "No." He shakes his head, taking a step back. )

I asked nicely.

[He shifts slightly so that he can see the phone in the man's pocket and cases a small spell to call it into his hand.]

( "Sounded like an order. I'm not helping witches." )

[undermyfeet]

Yeah, well. Now you won't even remember you saw us.

[And with that he will dart forward placing his hands on the hunter in front of him to cast the same memory spell as before. He's gotta do this one one at a time though so this could get interesting.]

( Were we taking initiative, the female hunter gets a (5), Lizzie, a (3), and Elijah a (9), because dice want this to be a weird fight, Danny is mid-action, and otherwise occupied.

But, dice or not, Elijah and his vampire power far exceeds her speed and he has her by the arm in seconds. The hunter's (6) and Elijah's (17) make a head butt impossible.

"Uh-uh," Elijah says. He can't have her bringing a gun to this fight. "Elizabeth," he says, indicating the guns. As she picks one gun up (1), it discharges and hits Elijah, who doesn't let go of the hunter's arm, because 1000 year old vampire, what's pain. )

That was not supposed to happen.

[Maybe it's the fact that the spell has been cast on him before. Maybe it's the fact that Lizzie is just shooting people and not even the right people that distracts him. But he feels the spell dissolve in his hands and that's ... not good.

He casts Lizzie a look over his shoulder like what are you doing, before turning back to the guy in front of him before deciding to distract him a bit. He knees him in the stomach, hard (19), before attempting to cast the spell again.]
