[She doubts that the Winchesters hands are completely clean in anything, but that's a conversation for another time.]

( Talking around it only counts when it's something he can answer, Bela. I was captured, Klaus was involved. I escaped.

[She rolls her eyes.]

I don't know where the limits of your compulsion are. I'm trying to find them. There has to be someone you can speak freely with.

[She steps closer, ticking names off on her fingers.]

Klaus, probably. I'm going to assume one of the Salvatores, and I've met Stefan recently. He seems like he's on the wagon rather than off, which means turning random hunters on an impulse is likely more Damon's idea than his. Am I wrong?

Damon. Damon Salvatore. And Klaus was brought in after. It was either death or do this. And, I can't say the words out loud, not in front of Cooper, or any other Monroe lackey. He was very specific. And condascending.

( But, his mind is working through the intricacies. )

[She makes her way closer, before gesturing for Mickey to turn around and face her, taking Cooper out of his line of view.]

I know I'm not Team Klaus. I know I was sent back to take Monroe down. I know what I can't say. I know Monroe is setting a plan in motion, but even I'm not privy to whatever it is. His dad's higher in the ranks than the both of us, but Damon didn't think about that when he turned me.

( Mickey also severely stonewalled all of them. And didn't make his part in it easier. )

[There's a reason she gave the job to Mickey not Cooper. Perhaps she thought they would kill each other and resolve the problem for her, but Mickey was the one she gave the advantage to survive.]

She didn't ask for proof. She just said 'take care of it.' This isn't a matter of bringing back a finger or an ear. I come back, say the job's done, the faster I can -- try and flip the script. But, you need to keep me as far from him as possible.

( "What's a little bloodshed between two friends," Klaus says on cue, coming up to the very strange scene. "You must be the one who was bad at your job," he first says to Cooper before turning to Mickey. "Hello, Mouse." )

Are you sure she didn't ask for some kind of proof? With the moves she's been making I would assume she wants some kind of display. And in order to get the father on your side, we need him to believe his son is dead.

( That's a (2) at remembering exact wording. )

She told me to take care of it. She did not give me a step-by-step guide for killing my best friend. Which I don't want to do.

( Technically, Klaus got himself into this, but he is regretting stepping in for the lesser Salvatore. Next time, he will compel better. 'Don't be an idiot.'

Let's make a show of it then. Really sell that Mickey is on her side. She seems to be all about presentation.

( Could that work. He's ignoring the 'I don't work for you.'

Maybe I have to repeat myself. Or, if anyone else has their bright ideas. I am all ears and four heads are usually better than one, but we are involving you two in this, so, perhaps the number of heads involved isn't relative.

I was thinking something a little more dramatic.

Monroe seems to be going for heads on pikes. It might be helpful for her to see that her opposition believes he's dead too.

( "And then some. Boys have disappeared over less, but we just thought they were relocated." He's now realizing they were probably retired. "I don't know how, but she has eyes everywhere. What... what are you thinking?"

Klaus smirks, continuing to be the worst. )

It's not removing his head, though don't think that didn't cross my mind.

I have a dark object that could do the trick. And from what I'm understanding, someone who would provide the reaction she's looking for is on his way here now.

[This is mostly directed at Klaus, not being too specific given that Cooper isn't that far away and might try to protest.]

If we can arrange that his father also be present, that would tie things up quite nicely.

( He doesn't like where this is going. (11) Also, he's been separated from Cooper for awhile and this entire situation is tense so he completely misses her meaning. )

It creates a death-like corpse, but it's temporary. He'll remain dead long enough for us to stage the scene to Monroe's liking and add the necessary fuel to the fire, but it won't be permanent. And, since we know what we're doing, we won't make the mistake of burying him and causing accidental brain damage.

[Voodoo zombies are a fate not fit for anyone, you might as well outright kill them.]

[Cooper rolls his eyes but does as he's told, kicking his way over to the shore and moving to stand next to them as he starts to wring out his clothes.

"I take it this means you have a plan?"]

We do. But it's going to rely a bit on forgiveness, rather than permission, yeah?

[Cooper does not like the sound of that. His face tightens in distaste, but he can make sacrifices for the mission. "And that plan doesn't involve turning me, right? You would think I wouldn't have to make that clarification, but ..."

He gestures to Mickey and his whole situation.]

I happen to think you'd make an abysmal vampire, what with your dishonor and your tendency to jump fences. And, if it's like the dark objects I'm used to dealing with, the dark object's power would negate any vampirism. Likely, if something went wrong you would be akin to a zombie.

( "Exactly, what do we mean. How does it work? Is he on time table before he can't be revived again?" If he sounds like he's worried as fuck, Mickey is, he confessed his love (that wasn't reciprocated) but it hasn't gone away. "And what about my compulsion." )

One thing at a time. If this excuse for a double agent is dead, then so is your compulsive need to do the right thing and kill him yourself.
