Malia shrugs, because what is time when you're standing in a disaster zone. "Since the flames went out. But she's not in any pain so--"

Freya's hand starts to come up, reaching out and finding her brother's arm. She groans and it's not fully coming to, but hey at least it's a sign of life.]

( "I haven't heard those," but then again, Donna's life has always been mysterious and her friends tight-knit. She only lets on what she wants people to know. You can bet he's going to ask about it.

Freya's eyes blink open, then she winces at the light. But she does know that voice, and she's relieved to hear it.]

Elijah. Welcome back.

[Then she remembers what happened and she jerks up, wincing as she does. Her eyes dart to Harvey and there's a moment of relief, before her eyes scan again and doesn't find the other.]

["He's fine. He went with Aiden to try and find Davina." Malia offers her a smile. "They left me here. No idea why they thought that was a good idea."]

( Harvey thinks the same, her bedside manner needs work. )

Davina, Hayley, and Josh were taken. Tamara Monroe picked up Hayley's phone. Our brother is seeing red. Are you weak?

[They don't keep Malia around for her charm. But she knows this and accepts this about herself.

Freya glances to her brother and shakes her head. Is she feeling her best? No, not really. But New Orleans has never waited for her best day before, and it isn't going to start now.

She offers a hand up to her brother to get him to help her up.]

I'll survive. Do we have any leads?

( He braces her, standing them both up, but letting her drop in a chair nearby. )

I'd rather you thrive, but your survival is appreciated. You gave us quite the scare.

( Harvey moves closer.

"Aiden and - Scott - are on their way to get leads." )

None as of yet. Our brother wished for me to make sure you're alright. Niklaus was waylaid by a brainwashing gone wet.

[Freya nods, before her eyes fall on Malia, and then looks back at her brother.]

Was Hayley alone when she was taken?

[Malia's eyebrows go up, and then wide. But she waits for Elijah to answer before she gives her impulsive reaction.]

( Elijah has not met Derek, but apparently he is more infamous (nat 20, really?) than the desert wolf's offspring, Malia (10). But, to justify this roll, Elijah has a great deal of knowledge and being versed in werewolf dynasties does do him good. Malia, however, was adopted and was only a recent revelation. Recent enough anyway. )

["Can he go FIVE MINUTES without getting kidnapped?!" Yep, that's there's the response that Malia was sitting on. With a huff, she pushes up from the floor and moves to the back. "I need to tell Allison. I'll be back."

Freya smirks as she watches her go, before turning back to her brother.]

This could be an advantage. Derek was likely a target of opportunity, not intention. Perhaps I can manage a locator spell for him and he can guide us to everyone else.

( Everyone basically watches that dramatic dust-up and returns to the moment at hand.

"I'm also on the hook for another witch, should whoever is working with Monroe be more than even you can handle." It's not the most respectable thing Harvey could say, but they need to know. "I know magic and its' toll."

Elijah doesn't defend his sister, she can definitely do that herself. )

Derek is one angle. Josh and Aiden are working Davina's and once Klaus and Bela are finished, we should have a mole returned. Perhaps, two. Bela wasn't confident in William's choice of undercover agent.

Witches are stronger together. And I'm sure the French Quarter witches will be highly invested in getting their regent back. The more the merrier.

We should also secure the bayou. Check on the status of the wolves.

I'm fine, I was outside. Freya put herself in a mini magic coma trying to limit the collateral damage, but she's awake now. The suit original is here, so I'm assuming people are going to start dying soon when we figure out where to point them.
